10 Simple Link Building Strategies
Link building is still the lifeblood of a website’s success. Here are a few ideas to kick around that might help you get started in your link building efforts.
1. Build a “Top 10″ or “101″ list related to your site and submit it to Digg
2. Create an article debunking myths on your site’s topic
3. Send out a press release to PRWeb.com and PRLeap.com
4. Post an occasional Craigslist ad for your site’s service or product
5. Set up a Squidoo page
6. Link to other sites or blogs on your blogroll or links page
7. Leave comments on other blogs/sites
8. Hold a contest. It doesn’t have to be elaborate.
9. Create a different site with more “linkable” content
10. Create a humorous email which also happens to link to your site, and pass it around
