10 Ways to Attract Younger Women

You’re a 35+ year old guy, looking to date younger women? Well, you’ve found the right place. I’m a 41 year old man, and I’ll give you 10 ways to attract younger women. How young? 30… 25… 20.. 18? That’s up to you. But I tell you it IS possible to attract women of any age. And it all boils down to one idea:

Women don’t really care how old you are as long as you LOOK young.

My current girlfriend is a beautiful 18 year old. That’s right – she’s 23 years younger than me. I can say without a doubt that if I looked 41, she wouldn’t have even considered talking to me. I get carded regularly for clubs and alcohol. People are shocked to see my age, and I’ve passed for my mid-20’s quite easily. Am I just lucky in the gene department, or are there things that I did to make me look younger?

Probably a bit of both, but since I can’t help you in the gene department, I’ll give you the details of my lifestyle, which should help you shed a few years off the mirror.

The idea here is that you want to look younger because you want to attract younger women, and there are always things you can do to improve in this department.

Diet
I eat a pretty healthy diet, not crazy healthy though. Not too much red meat, try to keep up on my fruits and veggies, etc. The main thing that I am adamant about is drinking tea – lots of it. I probably drink close to a gallon of tea a day. I didn’t sit down one day and decide to drink that much tea. When I started losing weight, I was looking for healthy options to drink, and I found myself struggling to stay hydrated just drinking water – which I don’t love to drink. So I discovered that I could indulge drinking barely-sweetened tea without loading up on calories. Turns out most teas are loaded with antioxidants and tons of other goodies. My ex-wife is 40 and does look pretty good for her age, I reluctantly admit… and she has been drinking tea for years, too. I’m no doctor or researcher, but I firmly believe my tea habit has been nothing but beneficial to my health and appearance.

Shaving & Showering
Unless you have a beard – which I will tell you later is a no-no in looking younger – you have to shave your face. Shaving your face every day for decades will age you. But the technique I’ve been using for shaving for nearly 10 years apparently has helped slow down the aging process. I don’t stand in front of the mirror with shaving cream on my face, nor do I use an electric razor (except for touch ups). I shave in the shower with the water hitting me directly on my face as I shave. I don’t even use shaving cream (because the water would just wash it off anyway). It seems this technique keeps the skin moist and clean, and cuts down on irritation. I haven’t had razor bumps in a decade.

After-Shower
Very important! As soon as my shower is over, I will gently pat dry my face. Don’t scrub or rub it with a towel! Over time, this can lead to more wrinkles. I then grab my electric razor and touch up any spots I may have missed shaving (since I shave “blind” in the shower – that is, without a mirror). After that, I immediately apply a healthy glob of moisturizing lotion to my entire face. The water and shaving have removed oils from your face and it will start to feel dried out. In fact, I often apply a second helping about 10-15 minutes later.

Tanning – NOT!
Nothing will age you faster than the sun. I’ve always passed on the summer bronze tan to protect my skin. If you must tan, don’t tan your face, as odd as that may seem. It won’t look as bad as you think, and your body won’t get wrinkles from sunning as noticeably as your face. And now at 41, I see so many of my guy friends who tanned earlier in their lives, and are paying the price now. I apply sunscreen to my face daily in the summer, and have been doing so for over 10 years.

Your body
First of all, lose weight if you’re overweight. Excess fat will always make you look older. Do what you have to do. If you want this bad enough, you’ll find a way. I’ve asked my girlfriend to describe the typical 40 year old. The first thing she says is “a big belly.” You gotta lose it bro. I’ve written plenty of separate articles about weight loss, which you might find helpful.

Clothing
Don’t ever let anyone tell you you’re trying to dress like a kid. Who cares? If you want to attract a 25 year old, you have to look like someone she would want to date. You can’t walk into her life wearing a button-down shirt tucked into your pants, held up with a belt. That’s how her father dresses, not her boyfriend. When I first started trying to look younger, I had my 18-year old niece help me pick out clothes that we could both agree on. (I didn’t just take her word for it – I wanted to stay true to myself) Now my girlfriend still does, just to weed out any “old man” moments I might have. Be true to yourself, but be current. I am a lifelong rocker, and pierced my ears a couple years ago. It was a small thing, but helped me embrace the younger look even more.

Hair
If you have a nice full head of hair, get a current style, but nothing ridiculous. Maybe even some highlights. I’m serious. Younger guys are still experimenting with their look, and younger women like this. You should be doing the same thing. Don’t go for the typical 40 year old haircut parted on the side. If you’re losing your hair, cut it very short or shave it off completely. I had to opt for the latter, and women responded. Afraid of trying the bald look? Think Vin Diesel or Chris Daughtry. Some women can’t resist a bald man. If you wear the look well, you’re gold.

Facial hair
If you have a beard, bushy goatee, or that “scruffy” look – get rid of it. Now. Seriously. When I was about 30, before my transformation, my then-wife had some hot friends and they were the first to point out to me that facial hair usually makes a guy look old. They were right. If you really want facial hair, just keep a small trendy patch. If you’re gray – dye it, no big deal. Never ever EVER have a mustache.

Body hair
I’ve found shaving my chest and stomach hair makes my body look younger – like the guys these women are used to seeing. Young guys don’t usually have as much body hair as you, so young women aren’t used to it. Chances are your body hair is turning gray anyway. Shave it. All of it… your entire chest and stomach. And keep those pubes trimmed very short! Some guys shave their arms. I get it, but it’s not for me.

Music
Younger women typically value music and identify with music much more than older women. As a musician myself, I say you owe it to yourself to always be on the lookout for new music, and to keep an open mind. You don’t have to cave in and listen to styles and artists you hate just because she loves them. At least be knowledgeable about current bands in whatever genre you like. If she likes rap or rock, you should know artists more current than Run DMC or AC/DC. Get the idea?

The whole idea of looking younger to attract younger women is not about being someone you’re not. It’s about shedding the old man facade and getting in touch with the young man still inside you. You might actually enjoy it to the point that you don’t even care about attracting young women as much… and then that’s when they’ll really start to appear.
