My original Acai/Cleanse scam update has been useful to many over the past year. I thought it was time to update that original list, but I felt it was important to keep all of the original data intact to show just how many scams were going at once. So what has become of all those websites in my original list of 122 Acai/Cleanse sites?

84% are gone.

I’ve gone through and updated the original list of sites to see where they are now. Not surprisingly, most of the initial rush of Acai/Cleanse sites are long gone. In fact of the 122 sites listed in the original 2009 list, 103 of them are offline or parked and only 19 of them still exist. (The list has more than 122 sites now, as I’m still adding new sites in 2010).

Acai/Cleanse sites are textbook fly-by-night operations. I guarantee these same people are still in business today with new but similar sites, selling the newest craze such as teeth whitening products or with new Acai/Cleanse sites aimed at getting ripped for guys.
