After our first two articles about “Living Barbie” Valeria Lykyanova, we thought we should round out this series of articles with a larger picture gallery of the Ukrainian model, who has become an Internet sensation. We scoured the net for some of the better shots of Valeria, and compiled what we feel is the best Barbie-like photos we could find. The photos used here are widely found on the internet.

This first photo looks like a Barbie doll posed in her Barbie Dream house, complete with pink walls.
This is the shot we first noticed of Valeria, used in a popular Facebook post. It features her thin body and flowing blonde hair.
What strikes us about this photo is the expressionless face and tilted head, not unlike you’d find on an actual Barbie doll. Valeria has certainly done her homework in posing like a doll.
Yet another tilted head, expressionless outdoor shot. This one also shows her unnaturally-thin figure.
This closeup displays Valeria’s full facial transformation, featuring her large blue eyes. It has likely been Photoshopped, but that only plays into her mystique.
Here we see much more skin than normal for a photo of Valeria. Again, she has a Barbie doll pose and lack of facial expression.
Perhaps one of the most doll-like shots is this one featuring Valeria sitting on a couch in a full white outfit. It would be easy at first glance to think you were looking at a Barbie posed in a doll house.
I’m not convinced this next one hasn’t been Photoshopped. It is significant because we actually see Ms. Lukyanova smiling. Her thin frame and mannequin-esque pose are prominent.
This could easily be a photo of “Workout Barbie” but it’s Valeria with her classic doll pose and expressionless face.

Valeria Lukyanova continues to intrigue her fans around the world. It’s not just about her physical transformation, but also how she “works” the camera to come up with such doll-like poses and expressions. Her emotionless stare, long blonde locks, and thin body have created a mysterious persona, which has struck a nerve among millions.

Incredible! So life-like or should I say, so doll-like! Cosplay seems the new generation’s new culture. In the West, I expect more American comics costume-play amongst the new generation. The barbie-doll phenomenon is probably a similar manifestation of this same generational fad. Gotta give an ovation to Valerie Lykyanova for her unique pursuit – even if it does raise my eye-brows as a staid old fashion Eastern dad!

anyways, i googled her and learned that the went through major plastic surgery… pretty much every place that makes her look like a barbie
She only admits to implants, but her nose is also obvious when compared to earlier pictures.
I think it’s possible that her waist is natural (not rib removal, as has been suggested), but she could be wearing corsets at night, along with her (again, admitted) extreme raw food diet.
I’m a straight female, against plastic surgery and yet I find her fascinating…I also find her new age persona fascinating. How can someone so vain claim enlightenment?
All of the pictures I saw of her she never smiles. The only people that I know of that are unable to smile are the ones that have had so much plastic surgery that all of the muscles in their face are dead!!!

Gosh, i’ve never seen anything that close to a barbie doll. I was absolutely stunned when i saw an image of her on Facebook. I was like “Pfft, obviously she’s fake” but no. I searched her name everywhere & told all my friends. I was honestly frecked & shocked, I couldn’t believe my eyes!!

The most Valeria receives is from other women. I think it’s envy and a little bit of fear. We are social creatures – it’s in our DNA to care what others think of us, and how acceptable/superior/desirable the presentation we put on for the world we socialize with is; this isn’t evil or vain, it just is. We are animals whose prime imperative comes with the caveat that we should choose the best. There’s a ceiling on just how close to the ideal of beauty the raw human form can reach, and most people either work toward that limit, or give up and become content with mediocrity and cynicism, insulting and criticising those who try for and enjoy the edge of the possible. Social creatures enjoy attention above most things.
Valeria Lukyanova has cast off the fear and revulsion of a society bound both by mediocrity and cynicism, shattered the ceiling of form, gone beyond the impossible, and has begun to encroach on a level of beauty held only by Goddesses and Aeons!
Self-deformation is not beauty. Instead, it belies deep-seated self-hatred. Sad.
Any one that speaks bad to her is because of jealousy, you can not deny this haha!

I idolize her guts to really become a real-life barbie doll!!! Admit it.. we all like to be barbies in our real life. we fantasized it. She made it happen.!!! Gosh.. i want to meet her in person and become BFFs!
This woman was beautiful before she had surgery, and is STILL beautiful. The only problem I have is that she constantly looks… Maybe emotionless? The pictures before her transformation portrayed a very different person. A happy person. Now, it is almost as if someone has stolen her soul, and replaced it with nothingness.
Where did she get all the time and money to do this? …?… It’s good to be so rich you can live in a delusion 24/7
That’s actually a pretty good question. One doesn’t typically think of the Ukraine as being a symbol of wealth.

Why are all her pictures fuzzy? Is there not a decent camera in all Ukraine? Could a professional photographer go to see her, so we would have a better understanding of what and who we are looking at?
