Seeking Reviews for Realdose.com’s Weight Loss Formula No. 1

Have you tried products from RealDose.com? We want to hear from you!

Today seems to be RealDose.com Day on the internet because it seems as though everywhere I go (including this site), I’m met with ads for this website. So I decided to look into RealDose to see what I could find, and therein lies the problem. Despite the ubiquitous advertising, there seems to be a complete lack of information about this site, other than obviously fake reviews.

The RealDose.com website appears to be pushing their “Weight Loss Formula No. 1″ which apparently has several obscure herbs as primary ingredients. The ads and website are both fronted by Dr. Steven Sisskind, who does appear to be a real doctor, but it’s unclear if his involvement in the company is as a paid spokesman or direct contributor. In my search for non-fake reviews, I found myself unable to find much. Certainly RealDose.com has plenty of their own reviews, but there’s no way to know for sure how legitimate these are. Fake reviews are a mainstay among new miracle pills. Looking at at “RealDose Weight Loss Formula No.1″ on Amazon, we find a 3-star (out of 5) rating. The two meager comments from which we have to choose are night and day, with a 1-star and a 5-star rating, both of which seem biased.

This affiliate-looking ad does not play in favor of trying RealDose.com products.

On the RealDose website, as well as Amazon.com, it costs $67 for a 30day supply. The RealDose.com website is a little over a year old, as of this writing. It was created on March 15, 2011. The contact details are:

Technical Contact:
Sisskind, Steven @realdose.com

Have you tried this product? Let us know what you thought.

What makes me take pause is that the website is relatively new, there appears to be a wealth of fake review websites out there pushing this product, and there is a sudden bombardment of advertising by Realdose.com. Further, the wording of some of the advertising has affiliate marketing written all over it.

But what bothers me most is the lack of genuine reviews – good or bad. I have yet to find more than a couple of genuine customer reviews on the product itself, which is hardly enough upon which a decision should be based.

So here at Wafflesatnoon.com, we’re asking anyone who has purchased and used Realdose.com’s Weight Loss Formula No. 1 to give us your opinion. Obviously, we’ll get some fake comments here, too, but we’ll try to filter those out as best as possible.

Let us know of your experiences with this product in the comments below.

Juat saw an e-mail from Steven Sisskind again today, clicked onto the presentation, and laughed. I tried the RealDose Formula #1 for three full months (October 1, 2012 – January 1, 2013) and actually added a pound or two. I was able to get a full refund, as I received free shipping at the time I ordered. It did cost me around $5 to send the empty bottles back, as I sent it certified 1st Class. I had to do this to ‘verify’ that I took the product. So all in all, I spent $5 to find out that this product had the same benefits as sugar pills, but I did resolve to continue to add healthy foods and exercise to my lifestyle, and having lost 4 lbs. since January 1, 2013, following my own guidelines, I can thank Dr. Sisskind for making me realize, once again, that diet pills don’t work, just a Healthy Diet & Exercise!

I have been taking the product for 19 days and I have loss less than 2 pounds. On this program they suggest that you measure your self before you star. And I did and that is what made me realized I am not losing at all. My measurements seem to be increasing. So disappointing. Also I started having palpitations which caused me to go back to my Cardiologist. So I am going to be asking for a full refund for the 3 month supply I purchased.

These companies really know how desperate people are to lose weight. Trust me when I tell you I followed this program to the letter and DID NOT have the advertised results. Save your money and eat right and exercise daily.

I am 36 and in the past year I have put on 27lbs! I am in the Army and have to stay fit, pass my Physical fitness (passed with flying colors) test AND pass weight. I want to re-enlist in November so I have been trying EVERYTHING to loose this weight so I can re-enlist and continue to serve my country. I ordered this product because I am also a Nursing student and the science behind it makes sense to me, and at this point it can’t hurt cause nothing else is working. I am loosing fat but gaining muscle so there’s no change on the scale only in my BMI–unfortunately the military doesn’t take the time to use the pinching method to figure out BMI so if you are “over weight” then they measure you so I need to really loose inches….wish me luck!

My experience is that of another reader – I take the capsule with a glass of water in the morning and I am no longer hungry 1/2 hour later. Trouble with that is – then I forget to eat! Quality problem I guess. I am watching what I eat and attempting to be more active. I have lost 3 pounds this month. Not much but I am going to try one more month. Good luck Mrs. Porkchop!

  5. Dawn Hass says:

For the last two years, I suffered from a hormone imbalance.
I watched the Real Dose video and related to everything being said.
I actually heard myself say OMG thats me, what could it hurt if I tried it?
So, I bought it, its expensive.

Prior to RealDose– I hadn’t lost weight, no weight loss in two years…no matter how much I exercised before I lost NONE. I also suffer from a thyroid condition, my T3 levels are low. Plus, my sleep was disturbed- slept maybe 6 hours max.

While on REalDose, I didn’t change my lifestyle that much.
I had always had a large salad at lunch with good veggies & chicken. Very rarely do I have greasey food by choice. I was never a huge sweet eater before or after realdose. My fault is and has probably always been breads and quantity. There are some days I do not get my full servings of 3-5 veggies and fruits servings. Some days I probably don’t take in enough protein too.

I read the instructions and while I tried to adhere to the directions, I wasn’t very faithful
    in following all of them.

I have to say I probably took only one pill a day, didn’t always have my full intake of vegetables or fruits, but did try. However, I only took one pill a day and some days I forgot to take it.
Shortly after being on the pill, I started sleeping better – I was able to put in at least 8 hours of sleep easily. I did notice I had more energy than I did in a long time. I lost about 10 lbs. before the pills ran out. Again, I hadn’t lost weight for TWO YEARS- no matter how much exercise .

Then, I went to the dr. for my check up. 3 months prior my homone imbalance levels were ridiculous. Then, I went to the dr. after being on RealDose for about 45 days. My bloodwork came back and my hormone levels were normal. YES, I SAID NORMAL!
FOR TWO YEARS, I suffered…my hormone levels were off the charts High.
Is this coincidence or does RealDose really have something that women need?

I can’t say for sure. I bought the stuff again, but haven’t taken it.
Because now I have an adrenal issue (probably had it prior just not diagnosed).
My adrenal glands are not working properly, my body isn’t producing cortisol and again I probably had the issue prior to REalDose.
I can say I had more energy and felt better than I did in two years and I want to take it again.
I do take my health seriously and I don’t want to do something to put my life in jeopardy.
So, I asked my Dr. to look into RealDose and want her to say I can take it.
In the meantime, she put me on adrenal supplements and DHEA. I felt better on Realdose and if something doesn’t change soon, I may take things into my own hands and go back on Realdose.
I just don’t know what is causing the adrenal issue.

By the way, I haven’t lost any more weight since being off.
I was sleeping 8-13 hours a night and feeing completely exhausted because of the adrenal issue. Then the dr. put me on the adrenal supplements & Dhea and now my sleep is disturbed. I felt good for 10 days and now I’m not feeling good again.

I so want to go back on RealDose.

Thank you for sharing. I hope you continue to have significant positive changes to your health. I have read both positive and negative about this product. Like you said it’s a lot of money, but I guess it is worth trying to find out it could work for me.
      Best, Susan

  6. Kate says:

I have been on real dose now for nearly a month and have lost about 14 pounds. I am a real person and I am not being paid for my review. When I began I weighed 262 pounds and have gained 10 per year for the last 6 years. I have tried a lot of plans and done a lot of dieting and this is, without a doubt, the easiest, best plan/diet/system I have every done.

Essentially, the pills make it possible for me to stay on a diet. It isn’t a miracle in a capsule. I still have to diet, but I feel good and I do not have any hunger. I am drinking a lot of water (about 128 ounces) and eating a lot of veggies. I exercise daily and try to stay on a schedule. I have energy and I am clear headed. I also sleep really well. I am pleased with the results so far.

  7. Lindsay says:

    Good morning.

I just recently started taking this pill. Most who know me well, know that I am a big diet pill person, and have tried probably way more than I should have ever put into my body. Much like other posters, I received an email to my personal account, containing this video that I did find quite intriguing. I decided to order 1 bottle.

What I look for in my pills is whether or not they meant for only people with extreme amounts of weight to lose. Products like Lipozene tell you up front – if you are not extremely overweight, it won’t work. That’s the thing. I am not extremely overweight. I only need to lose about 20-30 pounds (of course that may sound extreme to some).

I have no problem tracking how this works for me, and posting it to this site, if it would help to answer questions.

I started taking this pill for the first time last Friday. I take 3 pills a day, like the bottle states to do. One thing that I noticed in some of the articles he posted, is that he says to drink as much water as possible (which is nothing new to heart/read). I am not a water person at all, so I went out and bought those 0-calorie water spray things Crystal Light makes, and I have been pounding water like never before (which means I am in the bathroom too much!). I have not altered my diet at all (the food I choose to eat), but I can tell you I have noticed I don’t have that “want” for food as much as before. This is an obviously good thing, as I get lonely, and bored at home in the evening, so I find I turn to food to keep me occupied, which is what got me to where I am!

The bottom line is I know that it’s going to take time, so I plan to buy at least 1 more bottle to see how it all works out. For the time being, here are my stats:

    Female, 35 years old, 5′ 4.5″ tall
Weighed in on Friday at 161.2
Weighed in on Sunday at 160.2
Weighed in on Tuesday at 159.6

    1. Kathy says:

If you are drinking crystal lite with 0 calories, then you are probably hindering your effects. The “fake” sugar in diet drinks, including crystal lite makes you fat. It its also terrible on your nervous system. Try drinking just plain water, or better yet, add lemon to it. You will do your body a favor.

  8. Mrs. Porkchop says:

I wanted to check in since that seems to be something a lot of the people who post on here didn’t do after they received their pills. I got my first bottle a week ago, and remembered to take it in the morning with my other vitamins but kept forgetting to take it later in the day. For the past 3 days I have been diligent at making sure I take one with my 3 major meals, and I was literally just sitting and studying (one of the biggest times I mindlessly snack) and realized I had not been snacking non stop for a few days and got to thinking about it and realized that was when I had started taking this faithfully. Hmmm, maybe this might work after all? I haven’t weighed myself but plan to next week (I obsess over the scale so only once in a while I weigh) and I will check back with results. oh and yes I did weigh the day I started and measured too.

  9. Stephanie says:

I have been on RealDose for 1 week now and have gained 5 lbs. I was steadily losing about 2lbs a month for the past 4 months, totalling about 10 since the first of the year. And I feel bloated, I also experienced lactation(I know, right?) which has puzzled me GREATLY!!! I have an eighteen month old son, and haven’t lactated since he was really little, like 2 months because I did not breast feed and he was born 7 weeks prematurely. So, these pills are NOT what I expected. How do you get your money back?

  10. Jo says:

I saw the Real Dose presentation and was intrigued by it. I guess it ticked all the boxes of my situation and although I’m not looking to take supplements, I will consider it if it will help me lose weight with no adverse side effects later on. I am interested to hear your comments about the product before I commit and buy (because it is a lot of money. This is a very helpful site. Thanks.. (by the way I am still undecided on whether to buy so I will try to exercise/eat better before I try it out one more time)

  11. Wendy says:

It is nice to get the comments from people who have actually tried the product. After watching the presentation, I was all gungho about ordering, because he makes it sound so good. Now, after reading the truth about it, no thanks. I am not in a financial position to be giving money away for something that does not work. I already have a cabinet full of that type of stuff.

  12. Doug says:

I have been taking RealDose for abiout two weeks now, into my third week. I am 5’11 and 196. I usually like to be around 185 so I am just trying to lose 10-15 lbs. I have lost about 6 pounds so far. I take three pills a day 30 minutes before meal time. I also take the TG fish oil three times a day. I truly cannot tell if if is the supplements that are helping me or not because I have been working out at least 4-5 days a week for the last three weeks as well as eating properly (all organic no bad fats, bread, soda, juice, fast food, etc). I already bought my next two bottles so I will keep it going until I hit my goals. I mainly bought it to burn belly fat which seems to be working. I have noticed that I am not finishing my normal sized meals like I used to so I believe it does fill me up easier. I will check back in next month with my results. Thanks!

  14. Emma says:

Probably a Scam! Buyers beware. Some of the affiliate realdose websites have a link to amazon but when you search amazon – no such product can be found. Beware that if you use realdose link to amazon and put your password in – you may be exposing yourself. They don’t even have an amazon storefront – yet make the amazon money back guarantee in their promotional video. Plus just know that there are dozens of affiliate sites for realdose. When I clicked on the link it looked like I was at Amazon…. for the most part. But it was fishy when it came time to pay – it wanted my credit card information. I have that stored on amazon so it doesn’t ask me for it every time I purchase something. This was my red flag – along with the fact that the site was a much simpler looking version of amazing. No ads, not hype. Just a pay page with the Amazon logo at top. I immediately logged off and then wen’t into the real amazon and changed my password just to be safe!!!

You might say I am a slow starter at age 86 .. Have tried many weight loses in my time . Name it i tried it . Today however I use a walker in doors and scooter for out of doors and at businesses that furnish them for shopping . Therefore I am not a candidate for exercises.i am using formula 1 ,b-12 Nd omega fish oil from real dose. In February this year I was 257 and following my shower I was 237 . My husband of 67 years has always been a supporter as has our family of 6 , (1 now deceased) I was not a heavy weight in my early years but following pregnancys and being a young innocent couple on ways to combat things connected the weight gain and pregnancy that is available today . I just am glad that for me weight loss is available if you want it.
The past few days I haven’t received any daily updates . Please don’t stop them .

This product is not for sale on Amazon.com. Haven’t researched the ingredients, but takes time to balance hormones. If your whole bidy is out of tune, I seriously doubt this supplement will work. If you are insulin resistant, your doctor should probably put you on Metforfin to improve insulin resistance and lower your risk of diabetes. There is no magic pill people. Eat less, exercise more and stay hydrated. See your endocrinologist to determine corisol and thyroid function. Women over 50 should be on some form of natural HRT and maybe some testosterone for muscle and collagen repair. Turn on your Scam-o-Vision! Any diet supplement that requires you to drink 120 oz of water a day, twice the recommended intake, is a hoax.

  17. Karin says:

I am a 75 yr old 5’6″ female. Two years ago, I lost about 17 lbs on Weight Watchers, but reached a plateau at around 170 pounds where my weight wouldn’t budge. I would like to drop another 10 pounds. Last Nov I was put on beta blockers – they seem to have slowed down my metabolism and I am slowly gaining weight although I haven’t changed my eating habits. So much for history.
When I reached 179 pounds, I thought I’d give RealDose a try and have been taking it for abut 10 days. I adhere strictly to their recommendations for types of food and portions (though beans three times/day can get old). I avoid all grains, no pasta, rice, or even potatoes, no sugar, but eat protein, lot’s of vegetables and limited fruit. I take their caps 30 min or so before I eat (sometimes, I forget and take them right before, which they claim is OK, too).
After one week, I dropped 5 pounds, but the weight loss is slowing down now (OK with me, if it continues in general). I don’t know if this is due to the diet or if the caps are really doing me some good. Maybe just cutting out simple carbs would have done the trick anyway.
I have not noticed an increase of energy they claim one should expect, but then again, I didn’t feel that I needed an energy boost.
As for cravings, I’m not sure here either. I didn’t crave particular foods, just got hungry. It seems the hunger pangs are less, although I still get them occasionally in mid-afternoon.
I plan to stick with the caps and the diet for a total of three months unless I am not losing any weight in the next few weeks.
I will report back in a couple of weeks.
