Seeking Reviews for Realdose.com’s Weight Loss Formula No. 1
Have you tried products from RealDose.com? We want to hear from you!
Today seems to be RealDose.com Day on the internet because it seems as though everywhere I go (including this site), I’m met with ads for this website. So I decided to look into RealDose to see what I could find, and therein lies the problem. Despite the ubiquitous advertising, there seems to be a complete lack of information about this site, other than obviously fake reviews.
The RealDose.com website appears to be pushing their “Weight Loss Formula No. 1″ which apparently has several obscure herbs as primary ingredients. The ads and website are both fronted by Dr. Steven Sisskind, who does appear to be a real doctor, but it’s unclear if his involvement in the company is as a paid spokesman or direct contributor. In my search for non-fake reviews, I found myself unable to find much. Certainly RealDose.com has plenty of their own reviews, but there’s no way to know for sure how legitimate these are. Fake reviews are a mainstay among new miracle pills. Looking at at “RealDose Weight Loss Formula No.1″ on Amazon, we find a 3-star (out of 5) rating. The two meager comments from which we have to choose are night and day, with a 1-star and a 5-star rating, both of which seem biased.
On the RealDose website, as well as Amazon.com, it costs $67 for a 30day supply. The RealDose.com website is a little over a year old, as of this writing. It was created on March 15, 2011. The contact details are:
Technical Contact:

What makes me take pause is that the website is relatively new, there appears to be a wealth of fake review websites out there pushing this product, and there is a sudden bombardment of advertising by Realdose.com. Further, the wording of some of the advertising has affiliate marketing written all over it.
But what bothers me most is the lack of genuine reviews – good or bad. I have yet to find more than a couple of genuine customer reviews on the product itself, which is hardly enough upon which a decision should be based.
So here at Wafflesatnoon.com, we’re asking anyone who has purchased and used Realdose.com’s Weight Loss Formula No. 1 to give us your opinion. Obviously, we’ll get some fake comments here, too, but we’ll try to filter those out as best as possible.
Let us know of your experiences with this product in the comments below.

In response to your skepticism, I’ve been on the Real Dose Diet for 3 weeks now. I’ve followed the guidelines in the enclosed booklet, i.e., foods to eat, amount of water to drink, exercise – the usual diet mainstays – in addition to taking the product as outlined.
I’ve been extremely pleased with the results. My holiday weight gain has disappeared and so I’m sticking with it for another couple of months to see if I can reach my overall desired goal. I have lots of energy, am sleeping better and feel much calmer. So far, so good!
Thank you for your response. We’re looking for true reviews, so we welcome your opinion!
Would you still have lost weight and felt better following the guidelines but not taking the supplements?
Well i wondered the same thing same program without the pills. So i followed my own program which by the way wihtout activty for a whole month i only lost 3 pounds . I purchassed the pills used the program that i lost 3 pounds in one month and in 10 dayts i lost 7. Logivasally the pills have to be working. I cannot exercise and in both situations i couldn’t saand didnt
Can you let us know how you r doing with your weight loss? thanks
It says you can have 2 glasses of red wine, is there a certain type?
I am considering ordering it today. I will let you know how I like it.
Today I can’t find RealDose on Amazon except as a sponsor — an ad that takes you to the company’s website. So even the two testimonies you mentioned are no longer available!
Thanks for the comment. That’s an odd turn of events, isn’t it? That does raises suspicion a bit…
I had the same trouble. You have to to to their web site and it will prompt you to check out through Amazon. I’m not exactly how that works.
I too was a bit skeptical, so I started checking for comments on the internet. If you read any of the comments or what the authors hope you will think are testimonials, their attempts at trying to sound scientific is appallingly pathetic. Based on just the comments I have found I would avoid this product like the plague.
Just remember, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. No matter how sincere Dr. Sisskind, M.D. may sound he has a financial interest in the RealDose company. That, in itself, should raise a really BIG red flag.
The only way to lose weight is to burn off more calories than you consume in a day. This advice does not come from a bottle or a dietary supplement.
My doctor talked with me about this and explained that my hormones are likely causing me to keep the weight on. My job has me walking at different paces for at least 6 hrs a day 5 days a week. I eat 2 and a half to three normal meals a day with no snacking.I used to drink sodas daily and now drink only unsweetened tea and water. I haven’t lost a thing even with all this and these changes. Sometimes a natural supplement other than actual rev you up diet pills MIGHT help.
I have been reading the few comments here and decided to look up real dose nutrition and listen to his presentation and compared to some of the other hype and pills i have tried, this guy actually makes sense in what he is saying. So I have ordered these pills and will let you know how i get on. Watch this space.
Glenda,
Please let us know how things are going so far …. the good, the bad and the ugly are all appreciated.
Thank you
Do you have an update for us? Interested in the good, the bad and the ugly! Let us know what your results have been. Thanks!
Heard about Real Dose today. Spent some time researching the ingredients using a science based publication database and could not find reference to the “human” weight loss studies Dr Sisskind mentions in his video. However there are studies with these ingredients that suggest they have anti-microbial, anti-fungal, and anti-parasitic properties. Sounds to me like this could wreck havoc on your natural gut flora…you would probably feel ill, and not WANT to eat.
Ok, I believed the guy and was kind of desperate to lose the 15 or so pounds that will have me feeling better in a bathing suit. I ordered and took my first pill yesterday, before breakfast. Indeed, I didn’t eat my lunch as early as usual. Forgot to take the lunch pill, and then took another one with water 30 minutes before dinner. I am very careful about what I eat (mostly organic) and had a fairly small dinner of soup, crackers and cheese. I woke up at 5 a.m. with a horrendous headache, followed by diharrea and vomiting. I went to work late, and the headache continued. I do get sinus headaches every couple of months, but not with intestinal troubles. So I started looking for reviews today and only find the fake ones. If anyone has had a similar experience please post! I’m willing to try one more time, but I’ll probably wait a week.
I saw the add was glad to see a product that seemed to fit me. I just like you felt that this guy was real. I wanted to lose on 15lbs that I just gained in the last 6 months. Took the pill as prescibed for 1 week. 3 days into taking this pill, I became very bloated and had some of the worst cramps in my stomach and a slight headache. I thought this very strange and wondered about the what if’s. I never get headaches, but I took some Anacin and the headache went away. I stoped taking this pill after 1 week and all my symptoms went away and once again I am back to feeling normal. I called the company, spoke with a person named Amy, who could/would not answer any of my questions. Promised to get more information about my symptoms and get back to me. P.S. She claimed that my experience was contrary to what was expected. Good luck. This is true case.
I’ve only taken 3 pills and have found I feel sick to my stomach, as well a slight, nagging headache. Real Dose give a 365 day money-back guarantee so I’m sending the pills back immediately for a refund. I’d suggest the hard way is the best way – eat less, exercise more. Try Weight Watchers.online or eDiets.com. Both programs can most definitely help.
I started the diet plan 5 days ago, I have lost/gained/lost the same two pounds. I wanted to watch the video again but I can’t find it.I am hopeful that this will help but also very skeptical since I have been fooled before.
One other thing that bothers me is the amount of food that I am expected to consume, while at the same time, limit my calorie intake. I cannot eat 6 servings of vegetables, 3 fruit, 2-3 beans and 70 gram of protein, 35 gr fiber. I have to eat from morning to night (but not 3-4 hours before bed)
As a real user of this product, I wanted to relay my experiences to the readers. First off, I would like to give some background information on what brought me to the decision to buy it in the first place. Since January of this year, I have been working out with a personal trainer 3x/week and have completely changed my lifestyle in regards to getting fit. I’m eating right, doing resistance training and cardio religiously and with good success if I do say so myself. Between January 1st and April 10th, I had lost a total of 20 pounds, an average of 6 pounds per month. I had also lost 7% body fat. Although I was doing the same things, I came to a dead “halt” when it came to my weight loss. I was stalled for almost 3 weeks when I saw the video and decided to give this a try. I received my order on May 10th and started taking the pills that day. I have not followed the diet recommended because I was already quite comfortable with what I was eating. I have continued to do my workouts just as I was before. Today is exactly 3 weeks on the pills, and I have lost 7 pounds, so an average of 2.33 pounds per week. I am pleased so say the least. Now, to the person that said they got the stomach cramps and nausea, I honestly have nothing to say other than there are several factors that could have come into play. I’m no doctor, so I’m definitely not qualified to give you anything other than my opinion. I can tell you that as of today, I have had no negative side effects, and I have lost weight at a quicker pace than I was before, while it also seemed to get me over the “plateau” that I was faced with. Again, I’m a real customer, and there are my real life experiences.
To Lisa,
This posting was May 30,
any updates?
Thanks!
I clicked on the RealDose “amazon” link, and it looked real…however, I already had 3 products in my cart from last night. When I refreshed my cart, there were the same 3 products, no RealDose added. I also looked at the two pages’ web addresses…the real amazon.com address was different and had many more options to continue shopping, search, edit cart etc. The RealDose “amazon” page had nothing but continue to check out.
I call BS on this whole thing.
Realdose IS NOT sold on Amazon. When you order Realdose, there are 3 payment options, one of them being Amazon Payments. This is the ONLY thing that Amazon has to do with the product. The reviews on Amazon are only there because Amazon sends an email asking for reviews on all their transactions. If you search for it on Amazon, you WILL NOT find it.
as someone who has lost 114 pounds this past year, I can tell you after years of yo yo diets and pills and weight watchers and other stupid stuff, it was exercise and just eating properly. Less sugar, less junk foods. Just common sense. Pass the McDonalds, eat good veggies, chicken (not fried)and healthy carbs. We all know what we have to do it’s hard and we all want a quick fix. When we hit a wall we have to switch things up, change our routine a little. I’m proof it works, skip the lap band, the fads, the pills….start moving and when you really get a craving start moving some more, take a walk talk to a friend on the phone…just don’t eat!
Yes, we all know what we should do. Fall of 2009 I cut out all sugary drinks, unhealthy carbs, fatty meats, etc. …did all that current wisdom tells us. I lost 20 pounds quite rapidly (for me) in about 6 months. I was delighted. Yet, despite following the same healthy diet since then, I cannot get below that 20 lost. Some of us despite our best efforts DO hit a plateau. I can’t tell you the frustration of doing everything right and STILL not being able to lose. Be it metabolism or a “male” vs. femal thing, I know from living it that my body seem to fight me and I’m desperate to reach out and (despite my skepticism) try this product. I listened to the advertisement and have ordered a month’s supply. I’ll try it and see if there is any validity in the claims.
The product *sounds* good and one could try to disect reviews for months trying to determine if they are paid or real. If one wants to research the product, break it down into the four main ingredients and find all these human double blind test results they claim they performed. Wonder if they are “proprietary”? (sounds familiar if you watched the video, doesn’t it?
Next research the company itself. Identify and research these suppliers deep in the jungles of Madagascar and in the mountains of Russia. See if you can truly find these companies and find out about their relationship with RealDose. IMHO, RealDose ought to be forthcoming with much of the information while being able to protect their proprietary procedures and ingredients.
I am interested to be honest. Am in process of researching the ingredients and their sources. If anyone else has gone to this extend, please share?
Thanks

I have not order this product but I did watch the video and if you are a fan of Jillian Michaels you will know that she talks a lot about Adiponectin and Ghrelin being factors is not being able to lose weight. I have known for years about what effect cortisal has on stubborn belly fat.
This makes more sense to me than other supplements that I have tried to curb appetite. I have been to a weight loss clinic and took phentermine for almost 10 months. I did all that I was supposed to do, keeping my calorie count down and exercising 5-6 times a week taking classes like Body Pump and Body Step and adding a personal trainer 2 times a week and lost only about 1 pound a week.
I will try this supplement to see if it works and will get back with you to let you know the results. I WILL take advantage of their guarantee and send it back if it does not work. I will admit right now that I am a cheap a$$ and don’t/won’t waste my money. I work too hard for it, so when I try the product and let you know the results they will be 100% real.
Kelley Lane
Kelley,
I have been researching the same things. I am a very healthy eater, and I eat small amounts. For some reason, in the past 6 or 7 years, my weight went to my usual 110 lbs. to now 140 ! ! ! I’ve tried every diet/weight loss supplement that I thought would be safe, but I ended up sending them back, or taking them back to the store.
I’d been hearing how hormonal imbalance can cause weight gain. I had my thyroid checked in depth via blood tests, and that came back fine. Since I had a hysterectomy in my late 20s, I guess I’ve been in menopause ever since, but never had the weight gain. As I was researching hormonal imbalances, I came upon the RealDose website and watched the video; I heard Adiponectin and Ghrelin, and that made sense to me, so I ordered it. I just received it today, but I’m not sure about the food restrictions . . it seems like a lot of the restricted foods are the ones necessary for proper nutrition ? ? ? ? I am wondering if the food restrictions are not followed, but I eat healthy, if that will make a difference. I’m hoping the product does get the hormones balanced and allow the weight to come off safely. I,too, will send them back if they do not work !
Well I just wrote an extensive addition and my browser puked. Long and short of it is that Swanson Best Weight-Control Formulas LOWAT uses almost the same dose of the Dolichos biflorus (seed) extract, Piper betle (leaf) extract – http://www.swansonvitamins.com/SWD062/ItemDetail . Swanson usese the exact charts to demonstrate efficacy as RealDose does in their video (at least they look identical to me. See the details on the site referred above.
It turns out that the coffee extract has been extensively studied in the GastroIntestinal field as an aid to curing bacteriological problems in the GI tract. FWIW Dr Sisskind from RealDose has his specialty in GI Medicine.
“caffea canephora” or “coffea canephora” as it is called in the supplement industry, has been researched for over ten years. The extract comes from the green coffee beans and is chlorogenic acids – or Green Coffee Extract (GFE). The review of a study “The Use of Green Coffee Extract as a Weight Loss Supplement: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomised Clinical Trials” states that they are resdily available in other foods but does not detail them. Here is another interesting study on the Coffe Extract – http://horizon.documentation.ird.fr/exl-doc/pleins_textes/pleins_textes_6/b_fdi_33-34/39127.pdf discussing the extraction processes from the African breed of the “caffea canephora”.
cliniCAL by Sera-Pharma Labs contains apparently the same (or similar) extract of green coffee beans although from a different strain. All that means is that the beans contain less of the chlorogenic acids and they claim their product is naturally Bioavailable without an assisting ingredient used in RealDose (“a patented thermonutrient called Bioprene that increase the absorbability of all these ingredients”)
My homework does nothing to prove or disprove RealDose’s claim that they are better – it just demonstrates that RealDose ain’t the only kid on the block with the same claims (and for less money). If you buy into Dr Sisskind’s multiple references to RealDos’s higher cost to produce and that it is purer and better, then go for it. All I say is do some homeweork, read, and make an educated decision.
Ot – RealDose has a high presence on Tumblr under the title “Alternative Medicine and they are direct quotes from RealDose’s website. http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/ayurvedic-weight-loss , http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/ayurvedic-medicine , http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/alternative-medicine?before=1332529205 .
Another discussion board I read demonstrated that ReadDoes is just another WordPress site glorified by GoDaddy as an ISP.
You can read about the patent for coffea canephora seed extract here – http://www.thegoodscentscompany.com/data/ex1391081.html# and you will find that the FDA finds it save for human consumption – FDA Regulation. : FDA PART 173 — SECONDARY DIRECT FOOD ADDITIVES PERMITTED IN FOOD FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION
Subpart C–Solvents, Lubricants, Release Agents and Related Substances
Sec. 173.255 Methylene chloride.
FDA PART 173 — SECONDARY DIRECT FOOD ADDITIVES PERMITTED IN FOOD FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION
Subpart C–Solvents, Lubricants, Release Agents and Related Substances
Sec. 173.290 Trichloroethylene.
FDA PART 182 — SUBSTANCES GENERALLY RECOGNIZED AS SAFE
Subpart A–General Provisions
Sec. 182.20 Essential oils, oleoresins (solvent-free), and natural extractives (including distillates).
I haven’t done the research into who owns the patent but it should be fairly easy.
That’s my homework for the night folks – next up …..????
Wow! You rock!!!
Jim,
Very impressed by your research! I’m in the process of seeing if there are other companies out there as well who have a similar product. With all the research suppossedly done, one would assume that the original scientists would have also produced the product. However, the cost per bottle appears to be very high and therefore appears to be paying for the ads and so on plus a so called diet plan. They don’t claim this to be a pharmaceutical formula but guarentee potentcy only. Therefore i think the cost is high.As an example comparison,a year ago I bought the HCG Diet plan and had ordered the true pharmaceutical formula. It truely did work and I was losing almost a pound a day. The supply was for 40 days only and very expensive! I needed to lose another 10 lbs. and tried a product that is homeopathic and claimed to be every bit the same strenth as the pharmaceutical, plus of course much less in cost. Well sorry to say it didn’t work the same at all!!! So this leads me to the potency thing. The proper ingredients are a must but more important the strength of the ingredient. Curious if you found out anything more in your research, if you have, please share…
Jim,
I spent several hours today reviewing many sites and the ingredients in Real Dose.
Basically there are 4 main ingredients in the Real Dose. The Bioperine is used to help in absorbion of the Siberian Rhodiola Rosea. The Rhodiola is helpful in lowering depression, lowering binge eating and also helps in recovery of stress or workout plus enables good mental focus and stress relief.
The Lowat is a proprietary blend of the Dolichos Biflorus and Piper Betle. This aids in the increase or stimulation of the adrenal gland to help produce Adiponectin hormone and and combined with the Svetol(green coffee bean) aids in energy and supposedly works together to aid in reduction of fat cells.
Now Swanson has the best prices on everything except the Rodiola Rosea. The best price or close to the best potency is from Rosavin Trade Mark. risingstarlc.com/rosavin.html
In reviewing several sites about each ingredient all have excellent claims, although some ingredients were used more for stress or depression. All in all everything seemed to coincide with claims made on Real Dose.
As far as people getting nausious it appears that the Siberian Rhodiola Rosea is the culprit. Many claimed by slightly lowering the mg. dose the problem went away. In the Real Dose they use 113.33 mg. which appears to be a good dose, while many sites recommend using 145 mg. for good results. If people got sick, by the mg. in Real Dose they purhaps were not eating before dosage or not eating the right amount of food.
Everything I read said this is not a miracle cure all fix. This is simply an aid in balancing hormone. This will assist if or when you reach a plateau in your diet. However it appears the success stories were only brought about by people who decided to eat 3 meals a day along with 2-3 small snacks in between meals. The meals were healthy and not fast food. By combining a geed diet and workout people saw a reduction of 1-2 pounds per week. It appears though more people saw a reduction in belly fat or how clothes fit, equally obviously a lose.
As far as cost which was my 2nd big quest. By purchasing the pills/supplements separately total cost could be as low as $55.47 and you take 4 pills.
So after all this and my research to get out of what I’m really supposed to be doing…..I guess you need to ask yourself; do I want to take 4 pills at each meal 3 times a day or take 1 which will cost $67 a month….
Bottom line….if you truely want to lose weight this will assist but unless you are willing to make changes in your eating and really eating 3 full meals with a reasonable snack between to keep your metabolism active and not sluggish; then don’t bother.
So……you are saying that the Swanson weight loss is the same but cheaper??? Do you know if the Swanson can be bought in stores or must be ordered online?
I am extremley sceptical myself, i also cannot find any legitimate reviews. The concept does make sense though. Im very sceptical of Lisas review. Kelley Lane please report backon your progress.
Wow Tim! Let’s see….I hold a Master’s Degree in Special Ed and my husband is a physician in the Air Force, and you are skeptical of my review?! And to the person asking if there are any updates, the only update I have is that my husband just returned from deployment and we’ve been eating out like crazy. I’ve just held steady with no gain or loss since the 30th.
What does holding a Masters in Special Ed have ANYTHING to do with your review of a diet pill? It’s like saying “I hold this awesome PhD in Egyptian Studies so I am the perfect person to treat your gout, Sir.” Your degree does not give you a leg up above the rest for everything. It gives you superiority in the field of Special Education. As far as this situation is concerned, you can literally wipe your butt with your particular degree and it would be more useful. With a statement like that, I’m curious as to how you even got that degree.
Bahahahahahaha, it does seem suspiciously like an advertisement for the product.
No need to be so rude. Seriously. Just un called for.
I tried to post this the other day and it didn’t get posted.
To update on my progress…
I got the pills relatively fast and started on them right away. First I must say that I am not having the side effects others are having. I have always had some stomache issue’s but I can say that it is no worse with this product so I feel that I can say I am not having the side effects.
I have lost some weight, not a lot, but I can tell you that my cravings for sweets and carbs have just about diminished. I can go to the gas station/store and walk right past the candy isle. That is a good feeling! I have noticed my clothes are fitting looser..which my instructors and trainer at the gym tell me that is how I need to view my progress, not the scale. It is important to build muscle lean muscle because that will keep your metabolism going. So I judge by my body and not the scale.
I don’t get hungry as much or as fast since I have been taking RealDose. I used to be hungry 24/7….not a lie, I truly was!
I am sure that this product will not work for everyone but if someone is having a hormonal imbalace or they are out of whack then I feel confident that this product would help them like it has me.
If anyone has any questions or you want to verify that I am real you can find my FB page under http://www.facebook.com/kelleyjlane and see that I am just a normal person with some weight issues.
I wish you all luck in finding what works for you.
Sincerely,
Kelley Lane
I just ordered Realdose today while reading all of this comments some are skiptecal about the product some are good comments and I will update everyone see if it works for me, and I do also have a hormonal imbalance same with Kelley so Im hoping for the best that this product will works for me. I am very active person I go to the gym almost everyday and do hiking a lot but my stubborn belly fat doesnt go away so I’m crossing my fingers this things will works and I will update the result.
I call myself weight loss resistant because no matter what I did I did not lose weight even if I starved myself. My girlfriends would be on the same no carb diet and brag they lose a kg in a few days. I was lucky to lose 1 kg in 3 -4 weeks. I’ve tried every diet under the sun – the shakes, Dr Cabot syndrome X, the seeds, nuts – beans, no carbs, eating 5 small meals bla bla bla nothing worked. What usually works for other people does not work for me at all. I too was sceptical but ordered a bottle anyway. Started Mon 28th May. I did not follow the recommended diet because I normally do not eat that much food anyway. I only have a small breakfast and whatever I want to eat at dinner but I do eat reasonable healthy. I schedule taking the tablet 3 times a day anyway – every 8 hours 7, 3 and 11pm. To my surprise I have lost 2 kgs in the last week. I am 5ft nothing and was 66kg. I will give it a few more weeks and let you know if I think it’s the pills although I usually starve myself and lose nothing. I have been getting helpful emails from realdose every few days on how to help the diet. A lot of good information that would otherwise be helpful if I did not already read up on every diet, herb, research, review around that had a hint of helping me to lose weight. Why would they bother if it was a scam! The emails link to information on the realdose website but doesn’t have a link to re-order on the same page so I don’t know. For example http://www.realdose.com/customer/the-fruit-fat-connection/ . Could be a Psychological ploy to influence you to reorder I don’t know, but a lot of effort is put into the links information. I am real person you can find me on facebook Cathie Grima Erskine Park NSW Australia.
For those who are interested I have discovered KONJAC pasta – great product 14 cals per bowl!!!. Google slimpasta or konjac. Do your research. I love it. In Australia you can buy it at Woolworths in the asian section as konjac noodles or Slimpasta in the food intolerant section.
Since this post I have lost nothing. I really had to starve myself to lose those 2 kgs. The tablets only help to maintain the same weight but eating reasonably healthly, small meals I have lost nothing more. Don’t waste your money.
Just one more thing. The website address has changed. I ‘google Street viewed’ the address and clicked on the link. They now use a service company that hold stock fulfils the orders for them.
OK LOOK ME UP ON FACE BOOK ASWELL I JUST GOT MY PILLS LETS HOPE
Thanks Cathie. I hope you are legit i am the biggest sceptic in the world lol. But at least you talking in kgs, not lbs gives me some confidence that your actually Aussie hahah
I am legit. Checkout my facebook and send me a message. You can see I am overweight. I will post some more photos when I get to a respectable weight loss I am happy with. I am still losing so, so far so good. And yes I am very sceptical too. I still can’t quite believe the scales. That’s why I am not giving it my endorsement until I have lost quite a few more kgs. That will be the real test.
thanks to everyone for their input especially Jim for all your research. It has helped in my decision to try or not try the product. I know you spent many hours on this and wanted you to know that it is appreciated and is helpful.
Bought one bottle which arrived 2 days ago. I’m terrible at remembering to take the pill 30 minutes before a meal since I don’t really schedule meals. I’m a little worried that I should not have bought it since I have to take Tamoxifen daily after having had breast cancer and what if there is some sort of conflict or interaction? All I can say is that I have gained weight because of cancer treatments and ongoing Tamoxifen and I hate it and nothing I do has worked so far. I exercise daily and eat mostly veggies and protein. It was suggested that I’m not eating enough and my body may be “holding on” to everything as if it is in starvation mode. I think, but if people with eating disorders lose weight, why don’t I? I’m not saying I have an eating disorder, but I can say that I have cut back significantly on the bad stuff and am eating veggies out the wazoo and a mostly vegetarian diet and my weight is not budging. On the other hand, I”m getting very fit, so that’s a nice thing.
I started the pills 2 days ago and we’ll see what happens. Hopefully it will be all good…I’ll have to confess to my oncologist though that I’m taking them. Hope she doesn’t tell me not to.
OK, that is my confession. If I should lose any weight, I’ll let you know.
I bought the pills and have been taking them for 4 days already have been feeling sleepy all day increased appetite. I was losing weight and better off with my fish oil pills and it seems like with real dose my appetite has increased I feel like my energy is all gone, I feel so sick its not even funny. I think its to good to be true. I also think that like my mother says there is no “miracle Pill” if that was the case doctors would be a whole lot richer and everyone would be at the proper weight and there wouldn’t be any over weight people. They don’t care if they have to give money back they don’t care if people get sick using this product, and most of all they don’t care if people die…. They will gone on change the name, their names and continue making money.
I’ve been taking Real Dose for 2 weeks and I’ve been constipated, bloated, sleepy, increased appetite and lack of energy. Could taken other medication conflict with this pill, if so which? I’m going to return to company and get refund. It’s not working for me.
Oh dear that report does not sound promising Jennifer. I have already ordered for myself, curiosity got the better of me. Hopefully I have a better experience. Will report back for everyone once I have received and tested for myself
I started RealDose a week ago. I am not convinced. I lost more with watching my foods, calories and caloric sources, along with exercise of course, than I have with this supplement. I believe that the suggested diet alone would result in weight loss for most people. I’ve noticed that on the supplement I feel worse, achier, grumpier, sleep less & seem to have more headaches and sinus issues. I also am not eliminating as regularly as I normally do. So I am not convinced at least not $67 convinced.
Have you been drinking enough water? Just plain water?
I have completed my first bottle and I got no side effects at all but my verdict is that it did nothing for me as far as losing weight. For the last week Breakfast was 1/2 to 1 weetbix with a little milk, lunch was shredded veggies with nuts and LSA with a small tin of tuna or something of the same calories – hardly anything, and dinner was a small normal meal of whatever I cooked for the family. Rarely did I go off track except for drinking coffee -milk and no sugar, I did not snack and I did not lose anything all week! The week I starved myself I did lose but who can maintain that for longer than a few days. My girlfriend ordered a bottle as well but hasn’t received it yet. I will let you know how she goes. PS Some of my pill capsules came apart in the bottle. The capsules are made cheap.
I just ordered one bottle and intend to hold the folks at Real Dose to their guarantee. Before taking any of the pills,I will try their dietary recommendations for a couple of weeks to see whether I lose a significant amount of weight. If I do, I will try to continue on the diet and reach my goal of weight loss. If so, I will return the Real Dose for a refund.
If, however, I have not lost any significant amount of weight on their recommended diet, I will try their pills. If I begin losing significant weight, I will be satisfied with the product. If not, back it goes.
My main problem is with what I eat after supper. I have a lot of cravings at that time of day, so I am curious to see whether Real Dose will reduce them. If it does I may return to my usual diet which is a healthy one—10 different vegetables a day, 10-3 fruits, whole grains, olive oil, with salmon, skinless chicken breast and Tofu as my main sources of protein. If Real Dose helps curb my cravings, I will order 3 more bottles and take the pills to see if I can train my body either not to have or to minimize the cravings.
One thing useful to know in this regard is that if you have a habit (in my case craving carbs and sweets), you can often change it over time by varying the stimulus-response pattern. To begin with, you don’t tell yourself you are going to overcome the habit by sheer willpower–or, if you do,read Baumeister & Tierney’s book, Willpower.
Instead of telling yourself you are going to stop the habit all at once by an act of will (we all know how effective New Year’s resolutions usually are), you vary your pattern of responding to it.
For example, when the craving comes up, sometimes you let yourself go overboard but other times, you pause for 5, 10, 15 minutes of more, telling yourself you can have what you want, but not immediately. You do not have to do this every time, but often enough (like 1 out 3 or 4 or 5 times)for it to become a regular interruption of your usual mode of instant gratification. You can also experiment with satisfying your craving but with intervals, stopping and starting your satisfaction.
Habit feeds on predictable repetition of stimulus-response. With a combination of “frustrating the habit” as I just outlined and experimenting with substitutes (like using matzos rather than crackers to eat my more thinly spread peanut butter with), I have been able to limit my cravings to the after supper hours. This took a long time and required an ongoing desire to eat in a way that would do me some good. As someone has said: We underestimate what we can do in 1 year and underestimate what we can do in 10.
This is a matter of mind-set. I told myself I would would make this change or die trying, but I have avoided criticizing myself whenever I fell short of my goal. I have read that people who repeatedly fail to quit smoking are the most successful in finally succeeding. So it is possible to redefine one’s “failures” as steps along the way to reaching the goal. If you combine this mindset with the idea of trying out lots of substitute satisfactions and the technique of interrupting the stimulus-response mechanism, your chances of succeeding go up….but not overnight:)).
I am close to eliminating my night time cravings. Gradually building up a good exercise program has been a big help (stretching, walking, Tai Chi and some strength training in varying amounts over the past few years and taken me from being a couch potato to being reasonably fit, albeit overweight. My interest in trying Real Dose is to see if it will assist me in interrupting the pattern of eating that keeps the unhealthy weight on.
I have a general observation about trying products. The same product may work for some people and not others, even cause problems for some people and not others. This seems to be borne out by the range of reviews posted here. Bottom line: if you are going to try any product online (especially weight loss products),(1) be very skeptical (2) do your homework (3) google, google, google (4) read the reviews on sites like this one carefully (5) always prefer sites or stores where you can get your money back if the product is not satisfactory to you, (In stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s, for example, you can usually get your money back on supplements you are not satisfied with, (6)the world is a complicated and risky place; keep a sharp eye out for scoundrels, but don’t be afraid to take a well-thought out chance. Risk and opportunity often go together. No more platitudes, I promise:)) Wishing you all well. Richard
CORRECTION TO MY PREVIOUS POST: We OVERestimate what we can do in 1 year and underestimate what we can do in 10. Richard
OK. I’ve read all the previous posts with interest. I just re-ordered 6 bottles of the RealDose pills…for sure this stuff is expensive! My story follows: I have almost completed the 3rd bottle of pills from my initial order and I have discovered that they DID NOT make me loose any weight at all. I am an insulin dependant diabetic and after taking these pills for about 1 week, I noticed an improvement in my blood sugar levels (meaning they were more controlled….lower, which is good).
I take the pills prior to eating, but usually only a few minutes before, never the 30 minutes before that they reccommend and I have discovered that if I also take one just as I go to bed at night, it seems to eliminate the very high rise in early morning blood sugar level that is common in diabetes patients….this is known as the “Dawn Effect” and it can be a real issue for many.
These pills, for whatever reason, are definitely helping me, but not for weight loss as advertised. In fact, I have actually gained about 12-15 pounds because of the better control of the blood sugar readings….the lower the blood sugar in diabetics the easier it is to gain weight, especially when injecting human insulin.
I realize that this is probably not going to be helpful for those of you needing to loose weight (as I also need to do, especially now!) but I wanted to post this info for what its worth.
I did not experience any negative effects from taking these pills as some others have reported, but I did notice that I seem to sleep better and feel more rested upon waking and I seem to have a bit more energy. Also, I noticed some change in bowel habits, such as going somewhat more frequently than before taking these pills.
My Sister also bought these pills and she reported to me that they did not seem to help her with weight loss at all.
So, my sympathies to everyone trying to loose weight, it is certainly not easy to do, especially as we age, I’m an “old fart”…71 years old!
So, thats my experience with the RealDose product. I will continue to use them, just NOT for weight control purposes.
I have been using RealDose for about five days now, and I actually love the effect it has had on my energy level and appetite. I am not looking for weight loss, as I have lost the weight I have wanted to lose. I was hoping RealDose would help with carb cravings and maybe allow me to eat a bit more than I presently eat while maintaining this weight. The verdict is still out on the latter, but it has helped tremendously with cravings. You are supposed to take it 30 minutes before meals, but I find myself sometimes putting off meals after taking it, as it really curbs my hunger level, and I don’t like to eat until hungry. The decrease in appetite has actually been quite marked for me. I’m hoping it lasts. I also just feel really good on this supplement, it sort of smooths out my mood and energy level.
Fortunately, I have had no side effects, no stomach issues or headaches. I guess some supplements just agree with certain people more than others.

I think I’m gonna try this product. At least for just 30 days, to see what it does, or if it does anything at all. What can it hurt? I don’t see what everyone is so afraid of. They’re not asking us to spend our entire paycheck on a one-year supply, which we would be stuck with if it didn’t work, lol. They DO offer a 30-day supply option for about $60. That’s nothing! I mean come on people, we spend more than that per month on gasoline so we can DRIVE our lazy butts 3 blocks to the store, instead of walking! lol. Or the crunchy snacks, sodas and candy we buy in the stores, or the fast food places we visit! lol. How about we skip the junk, walk a little more, and just try this stuff, since we are so curious? And then come back here and give some HONEST and REAL reviews, for the sake of other people? I mean what? We’re willing to spend $60 on stuff that will CERTAINLY make us fatter– but we’re so terrified to spend it on on something that could potentially help us lose weight? That sure says something about our priorities. And that’s our answer as to why we can’t lose weight! lol. Just give it a 30-day try! Maybe conduct your own test. 2 weeks on the diet WITHOUT the pills, then 2 weeks on the diet WITH the pills. See if there is a big difference, and then you will know! If you don’t like it, or it doesn’t work– don’t buy more. Simple.
Amen.
For $67 54 ounces Coconut Oil and Cod liver oil. All add some grass feed butter.
Fasting is my next step. Was at the Gary’s Young’s clinic (Essential Oils) years ago and was real sluggish. 12 days later, I had lost about 12 pound and felt g r e a t. Started with a mixture of Maple syrup, lemon, and cayenne pepper as much as wanted. They also had a dark vegetable green drink that we have anytime. The Maple syrup help the cravings, and as we drank more, the more cayenne pepper we would add. The first 2 days were a little rough. And did a lot of Maple syrup, lemon, and cayenne pepper drink. They keep us BUSY doing something, class, seeing doctors, chiropractors, oil massages. It ran about $12,000 but it saved my life. If I were going to make juices, I would lean towards the Kale and dark greens.
The Bible is keeping me busy and close to Jesus. Showing me original and the counterfeit in these last days is worth everything. Need to get the weight down for the flight. It will not be long. Bank fraud is costing trillions. I estimate about 60 trillion in America. Living-Water.info We are losing our country but gaining eternal life. I am going to walk 5 to 10 miles a day, early in the morning. The Maple syrup, lemon, and cayenne pepper drink CRAVING, should hydrate the cells and get everything moving. CAUTION: If the body becomes to sluggish, one may have to do maybe up to 4 coffee enemas (retained 15 minutes) to get the poisons out of the blood. Putting high amounts of alkaline juices into the body causes a lot of acidic cleaning to discharge. Do the research. Don’t remember having to do any enemas when I was in Utah. Just be careful when cleaning your body. Listen to your body. Simply stop if things get out of control. You do not want to over load your liver. Educate – charcoal and water absorbs a lot of poisons. Many Blessings,
Just read through the review chain posted here; exhausting. I am going to order a bottle for my lovely wife who is fighting belly fat and has become quit overweight. I am tired of seeing her fight this battle and not getting anywhere. She’s active and doesn’t overeat so I’m thinking the stuff that Dr. Sisskand says really make sense to me. One think I must say, so many of the people here are spending far too much time and energy over-thinking this decision; there are a lot of worry warts here. Just take the stuff for Gawd’s sake. If it doesn’t work, send it back. Good luck to everyone here, weight loss is a lifetime task.

This is where I found the video, hope this helps someone!

I was also concerned that it sounded too good BUT… I’m very happy to share that I feel great, I’m losing weight, I’m not hungry and my cravings are gone. I’m following the program as directed and for me… It’s Working! I’m starting week three and I’ve already lost 6 lbs which I know some of which is water loss, HOWEVER more importantly than that my belly is melting, people have also noticed. Thankfully, I have lot’s of energy. I’m 63 and thought I’d never be able to find a way to burn off this fat. Thank you Dr. Sisskind.
Just as a passerby, checking out the reviews on this stuff and reading the different comments here I really think it all depends on how your particular body runs its own show. For example, my body is a weird thing. Substances known for making people out of the box energetic like dexedrine, adderall and even some of the dirtier amphetamines make me sleepy and hungry. However, almost nothing else can achieve the effect of making me sleepy. I don’t get it, and neither does anyone else. It’s one of those mysteries of my particular brain. I say if you’re curious, go for it. I am a huge believer in hormones being the master controls of weight management. With the over processed disgusting crud made available to use normal folk, is it any wonder we’re all hormonally wacko? Obese? Infertile? It’s all related. There’s no catch all pill though I guess is my point. There are more hormones responsible for fat than just ghrelin, cortisol and adiponectin. There’s thyroid, adrenaline, leptin, testosterone and I’m sure some I forgot. The way to really pinpoint what’s making you fat is to go by your other symptoms as well (sex drive, sleeping patterns, hair loss/growth etc) as the obvious ones and go forth and experiment.
If this pill is so wonderful why don’t they give it to the FDA and get a patent on it and sell it as a safe medication for obesity. Dr. Sisskind is a cardiologist, if he was a endocrinologist and said it would help you lose weight I might believe him. Send it on to Dr. Oz and see what he think’s of it.
dear Janet Dr.Oz is also a cardiologist why you should trust him more in this subject?…
Tim, Cathie G, Susan Do you guys have any updates on how i has been since you started?? Im about to purchase, but so unsure about this product still.. Curious if the weight loss is continuing or has not even started for you..
yep been a week now see below
Many thanks to Jim for the extensive research – I just stink at research so truly appreciate the time and effort you invested. (BTW, I interpreted Lisa’s comment – Masters in Special Ed – simply as meaning she probably spent a great deal of time researching and has learned how to be an effective researcher: knowing how to find geneuinely good sources for info and being able to sift through a lot of it, distinguishing good from questionable, etc.) Also, I appreciate the feedback from those who are taking the product.
I so want to believe in this product but I have some (I think) valid questions. I’m wondering if anyone knows – or knows how to find out – if this stuff is metabolized primarliy through the liver or the kidneys? If Lisa is still reading these replies, would you approach your husband to see if he could make a determination?
Also, has anyone wondered about long term effects? In general, if you take something that changes your hormone balance, what happens to the hormone levels when you stop? For instance, if Dolichos Biflorus and Piper Betle stimulate the adrenal glands, does the adreanl gland slow down – perhaps permanently – if you stop taking it?
And finally, some replies have mentioned restricted foods. Is there a long list of them – and is coffee on that list? I do want to lose weight but I don’t know if I’m ready or willing to give up my coffee to do so!
Like Erin, I’m anxious to know the results of many of you who ordered the pills: Brandy, Glenda, RJD, Kelly Lane, LC, Kikirodway, Susan and Tim.
I just ordered them. A few months ago, I spent $89 on a month’s worth of Sensa and if anything, I have gained weight on that.
I just buried my mom last week. She died from End Stage Renal Disease and a major cardiac event. My weight path has followed hers. The question I have been asking myself is, how much is it worth to be healthy? Since just one month of her dialysis treatments was about $15,000 and we were doing them at home, I’m figuring if this works it will be worth a whole lot more than $67 to me.
Since I ordered through Amazon, and I know it was Amazon because they had my credit card information saved, I’m not concerned. I have never had a problem returning items to Amazon. I know that Amazon is not selling these pills, just handling the transactions, but probably more of their business comes from 3rd party sellers than their own sales anyway. This is more or less a “Sold by Real Dose, fulfilled by Amazon” transaction from what I can tell.
As one commenter pointed out, you may be able to buy the ingredients separately and I have seen them on the shelves, but all the pills I looked at had numerous other ingredients in them as well. I figure that buying 4 bottles and taking 4 separate pills is bound to cost almost as much if not more. Probably will be harder to return (most of that stuff doesn’t have a “return if you aren’t satisfied guarantee”). So I figured, this was the easiest way to go.
I have tried nearly every diet under the sun, including another more controversial, HCG diet, that was very effective but very hard to stick to in terms of weighing food and restricted foods.
I know that I have hormone issues. I have been diagnosed with insulin resistance and my mother was diabetic, so probably just a matter of time for me. I will come back here in a few weeks and let you know how I’m doing. I’m also going to do some research on combining with antidepressants, because I take two. I have quit them for other diet pills, so I’m willing to do it this time too. I will let you all know what happens and what I find on the antidepressant interactions.
Thanks for your comment Heather. I’m so sorry to hear about your mother. We’ll look forward to your update in a few weeks.
UPDATE: The adiponectin diet was worthless. Didn’t lose more than a few pounds and gained it back. I did want to share that I found some diet drops that have been working fantastic! I have lost 17 pounds as of today. To start with, I followed the diet very closely and I lost weight a lot faster. But, and this is key for me, I took a break over Christmas and ate more or less whatever I wanted. I was careful not to overeat (you know, stuff myself) but I ate cookies and macaroni and cheese and cake and all the things that you aren’t supposed to eat. I was sure I was going to have regained everything. When I got back, I hadn’t gained a thing. I seriously could not believe it. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. I tried HCG, ordering the real stuff from overseas and mixing it and the whole nine yards. It worked great as long as I rigidly stuck to the diet. As soon as I cheating a bit, I gained. With this amino acid diet, I never gained anything (I did not take the drops while I was “off” on Christmas break.) I stopped following the diet (I have been using artificial sweeteners, drinking diet pop and using a few Atkins bars for breakfast and lunch). I am using the drops again and I have gone back to losing about a pound a day. Some days, it’s slightly less, some days I don’t lose but I don’t gain either. But since Christmas, I have lost another five pounds total. Not following the diet, just taking the drops. I don’t know if this is going to continue but so far, this has been the miracle I have been looking for. The sucky part is that I can only find these drops one place and if you want me to share that website, I will but you can find it by searching The Amino Diet. They have a FB page too. A friend of mine on FB “liked” the diet and that is how I found out about it. I messaged her to see if it was working for her and she never messaged me back so I don’t know if she has had success or not. The drops are pricey but I got them on a $20 off deal so if you can find that, I would suggest it. After about a week, I got an offer to get more at a discount but I didn’t take it because I wasn’t sure they would keep working. Now I’m sorry I didn’t take that offer because I can’t find them at a discount again.
I will keep you posted on my progress. I’m cautiously optimistic. I should say that I am trying not to overeat, but I’m not counting calories and I am not following the “5 oz. of lean meat” type rules either. Still working. Can’t beat that.
I wanted to add that so far, I haven’t noticed any negative side effects with the Amino drops, although I did have a headache to begin with but then I got a cold so not sure if it was the sinus issues with the cold or the drops.
You had me in the video right up until you stated that “a Microbiology lab guarantees purity, etc”. The lab that should actually be resposible for this is a chemistry lab. Microbiology labs are used to determine if an infectious agent is present. They aren’t the go-to lab for ensuring that drugs are pure, or that they meet content standards. I know this because I am a microbiologist, and I have been working in laboratories (both Microbiology and chemistry for the medical industry as well as phamacology) for the last 21 years. I am not saying that the 4 hormonal imbalances thoery is false. I plan on re-balancing by using natural methods, and continuing to exercise. Thanks for the interesting video though. If you really stand by your product, you should think about offering a one month FREE TRIAL to customers as opposed to a money back guarantee. If I had that option, I might have tried this product.
I too just ordered the pills. I’m hoping they will help me lose more. I started a diet about 5 weeks ago and have lost 20 lbs. I’m obese so I need to lose much more. Gene, I’m also an insulin dependent diabetic so your comments pleased AND concerned me. If this helps regulate my blood sugar, then terrific but I just can’t gain any more. If I gain while using these I will just not order more. I’ve never bought supplements like this online except for one other time for a colon cleansing formula. I lost weight with those but mostly due to spending more time on the toilet than in the kitchen, haha! I’m maintaining my diet and I will know whether these pills help withing a month. I’ll let you know!
I am a customer of realdose and have been taking them for a week, and following their eating suggestions and it seems to be working for me. Prior to realdose I had lost 20pounds but the plan I was on was extremely expensive. Therefore decided to stop the plan and continue eating all the right foods and use realdose. What I did find about this ad to be different is that they never indicated you can eat all the NASTY fast food out there and take this magic pill and lose weight. They note upfront that this pill will assist your body but you have to be eating the proper foods and implement movement. So for people who have commentented on this product and indicate they do not believe in this pill because the only way to lose weight is by eating proper and excercising etc…should 1st review their ad and then comment because this company did not indicate you can gorge and then this pill will make you skinny…anyhow read read read before you comment on something you know nothing about. As there are real people with real issues looking for a real answer. I am by far not a large lady but the 20 lbs creeped up on me not because of food alone but because of stress and this realdose will assist you also with its all natural ingrediants. Honestly worth trying with a guarantee as they have. All the best to all trying to lose weight it is such an emotional rollercoaster but if you stick to it you will feel so GOOD.
I started taking RealDose about four days ago. I eat right although I can’t exercise alot because of a medical condition. So far, I feel very bloated and uncomfortable. My appetite seems to be increasing instead of decreasing. Not sure this is going to work. Will check back in a couple of weeks.
Ok guys. I have taken these things for a week now. They are not doing anything for me and i have actually gained weight. I have not followed the diet they have reccomended as it seems completely un-realistic to me, far to complicated and to many restrictions, besides they stated it would be more effective on any healthy diet as opposed to not taking them. From previous experience on extreme diets i have ended up binging hard because i feel so deprived of variety. Anyway I was eating healthy already when i purchased these and always exercise at least 3 times a week. Before I started I was loosing roughly half a kilo per week. I have gained just over 1 kilo in the last week. I have been eating less snacky foods than i was before starting, not because i dont want too but out of will power to give these pills a fair go. I often am feeling more bloated. First 2-3 days i had severe gastro and headaches but they passed as body got used to them. I will persevere maybe for another week unless i keep rapidly gaining, but as far as im concerned its just another con, targeting us people with our defences down from weight issues all our lives. Hope this helps someone.
Just checking back in guys to let you know been 2 weeks now. Definatley feel satisfied earlier at meal time, however no noticable weight or flab loss. Still tempted to munch between meals though.
I wrote a reply yesterday but it hasn’t been posted? Just wondering why? I forgot to mention, I requested the information when I called them to place my order. Been taking the product for 2 weeks, with diminished appetite, and down 4 lbs! Please post my previous comment too. Thanks.
Thanks for your comment Lori. Try posting your previous one again, as I don’t see it anywhere.
First let me say, I have been taking the product for 2 weeks with a diminished appetite and have lost 4 lbs, which I think is right on track. I’m also, not sure what happened to my comment from 7/2 however I do have some information about the company. First, they have an unconditional 365 day guarantee, the product works or your money back. Dr.Sisskind is very involved in the company. For customer reviews they have an amazon review page, with 4.6 out of 5 star rating, not 3.
They also have a facebook page where customers or public can comment.
facebook.com/realdose
I have read this page and it is not only very informative but supportive as well. I am rather disappointed in waffles review of RealDose. It seems you would investigate a little better before putting your stamp of approval on an in-accurate article..but hey it’s your blog!
A word to Janet… Dietary and nutritional supplements fall under the guidance of the FDA Nutritional Supplement act.
“FDA Approved” is related only to drug(medication)approvals.
Anyway, from my investigation I find RealDose to be an innovative company who seem to care a great deal about making the world a healthier place.
Lori, now I see why your previous comment didn’t make it through the spam filters. Your accolades of RealDose so are biased that the spam filters blocked it! How can you be “disappointed” in someone taking a skeptical look at a miracle weight loss pill… about a company who misquotes and floods the internet with fake reviews. Like yours. But to address some of your points:
• The rating at Amazon was 3 stars when the article was written. Since then several fake reviews (like yours) have been dropped on there.
• The Facebook page is managed by RealDose. Some of those comments are clearly fake. In fact, I couldn’t find a SINGLE negative review on there. Based on the high level of negative reviews on THIS site – which RealDose doesn’t admin – doesn’t it seem logical that there should be at least a few negative comments on there? RealDose is cherry picking, and putting their own “user” reviews up. In other words, it’s useless.
• Every scammer in the world offers a money back guarantee, knowing many people won’t go through the hassle.
• What is inaccurate about this article?
Look at how many people here have said it causes bloating and cramping, and for them it just doesn’t work. Your ridiculously biased “review” along with the sanitized reviews on Facebook make me even more skeptical that RealDose is more about selling pills than promoting a valid weight loss product.
I know what my experience has been and that is how I base my opinion. Thanks for posting.
I just ordered RealDose. I will let everyone know how it works for me.
I have something to say to the person/ people who insist that just eating right, exercising, and common sense is all a person needs to maintain a healthy weight.
That approach works perfectly for a body and a physical system that is working correctly. But, if something is out of whack, like perhaps hormones or thyroid (in my case), a person can practically starve themselves and exercise 4 to 5 days per week and not lose more than a pound or two total, if that.
I used to be in the military in my 20s and 30s, so I know what it takes to stay in shape. For my entire life I have had to starve myself and exercise excessively. In peak condition I weighed 120 – 125 lb at 5’1″. I felt great! But, I didn’t have children and exercise was a part of my job. I only focused on myself!
I got out of the military after I had two children. I lost the weight right away to my original 120 lb, I continued to exercise and eat similarly to when I was in the military. At about age 38 I started gaining weight and haven’t stopped. I am 48 now and as time has gone on I have felt depressed and discouraged and now hover between 190 – 199. I don’t exercise consistently anymore… I get motivated for a few months at a time, and then when I don’t lose more than a couple of pounds I get discouraged and give up. When I try diet pills such as phentermine, I lose about 10 lbs. and then stop losing. Of course the weight comes right back. Low carb seems to be the only eating style that works for me now, but it is hard to stick to, plus I want to eat fruit and black beans and things that I know are good for me. Last comment, I am an elementary school teacher now and I walk around 6000 steps everyday just at work and then I try to walk an additional 4000 3-4 days per week and eat healthy.
I am just tired of people saying “just eat right and exercise” like people who are struggling with their weight eat like pigs and sit on the couch all day. Good luck to all. I am really hopeful that RealDose will make a positive impact on my hormones so I can get to a healthy weight for my age and eat normal healthy food.
There is no doubt we all come in different shapes and sizes. I have a life long battle with being over weight and for most of my adult life i have exercised and kept a balanced diet. Yet I have friends who have battled there whole life with the opposite. Pumping weights, eating triple the amount i eat as well as rubbish food and they are skinny as and desperate to put some weight on. We all get given what we given i guess and have to make best of it as we can
I know that feeling! I was always a very tiny person growing up and through my 20′s. I stand at 5’1″ and weighed in at 112 lbs at my heaviest. Then I got married at 28 and wanted to start a family. I had difficulty conceiving and at 30 years of age started fertility treatments which just screwed my whole body/system up. I blew up from 112 to 190lbs and have struggled everyday since to take the weight off. I am now 49 and hit in at 168. I did eventually have a child after 8 yrs of trying, I was finally blessed. But those treatments screwed my body up big time and I do not know if it will ever be the same again.
I exercise because I LOVE it! The way I feel after I get done with my BodyStep and BodyPump classes is just unexplainable. I feel …. SO GOOD!
I tried this product, lost 9 pounds in 30 days. Will continue to try it for 2 more months.. I’m hoping to drop a total of 20 lbs by the end of the 3rd month. But you must continue to exercise and “eat the right foods”. Eat organic foods such as baby greens, grilled veggies, limit intake of fruit juices, soda (even diet soda), avoid Splenda (and other artificial sweeteners), etc. The nutritional guide should be followed in a nutshell
Ive laughed my head off at some of your posts (thats a bit of weight gone!) I was tempted to buy real dose tabs and asked the company if any of the ingredients will react against Parkinsons medication. I was told to check with my doctor!Considering my Allopathic trained doctor will not know what any of the ‘alternative’herbs are, I think it was a cop out. If the company has a highly medically qualified doctor at its helm why didn’t they know. I will be going to my reputable health food store and researching the 4 ingredients (can’t find any others that might be added on the site)As much as I desire to lose my belly fat which I cant even though my diet is really healthy,I will maintain my usual self help ethic by researching the idea thoroughly before trusting a total stranger to tell me what is safe for ‘my’ body. Do we all trust doctors all the time..don’t think so-(not here in GB we don’t!) so why trust a money making ad with staff who can’t answer important medical questions. my humble advice is to research on net-diet/foods to combat stress, low glycomic diet/foods, low acid foods/diet and best carbs to eat. its a little work but if you can compare/combine and list those to find all the foods that stimulate and clog up your body in the wrong way. Find out about proobiotics (bloating body not absorbing vits etc) I have found the organisation GAPS which advocate fermented veg (with sea salt) making and how to eat for health a very old fashioned way worth while trying. My acid reflux and bloating has improved dramatically since trying their regime, although all I have also spent time researching all the above too and use a variety of methods but keep to the right foods so I know what is good for my body. Trust any one else NO NO. Not until you understand how different foods act in the body. Something most people don’t seem to do. Eg don’t eat grapefruit with cholestrol medication as it stops it from working. How different fats use energy and others don’t. Cooking with some oils not fit for high temperatures can cause serious illness! Loads more to learn about what every food item does to your body. Yes, I still have a little fat around my middle waist but think a little more fat burning exercising might get rid of it now I am over an op. Apparently sports medical experts say a fast 12 minutes a day is good enough..Mmm Will test that too. Hope some of this helps.
Great comment Gloria. Thanks for your thoughts and insights!
I have tried this product for over 30 days now and lost nothing. I have actually gained weight, about 9 lbs. I did little exercise due to health conditions. I ate small and healthy meals with snacks in between. I am female and 52 years old. I did not follow “their plan”. For that matter if we do follow “their plan”, I believe you could lose weight without the pills. I did not feel sick or nauseated taking these pills. Proven research or not, my conclusion is to not waste your money for it does not work.
To the RealDose minions who are now complaining because your comments are not getting through, you may want to read the last line of this article again, which reads, “Obviously, we’ll get some fake comments here, too, but we’ll try to filter those out as best as possible.”
There are plenty of positive comments here, some of which I doubt are real – but I have attempted to be as impartial as possible. Comments that are obviously fake or an attempt to dilute the genuine discussion here aren’t welcome and will not be posted.
The fact is, this article is completely neutral to the product, which is why reviews are being sought.
