Mark Zuckerberg Gets Married

Mark Zuckerberg surprised the online world yet again on Saturday when he announced his wedding to 27-year-old Priscilla Chan. Apparently the 100 guests in attendance thought they were attending a celebration in Palo Alto, CA of Priscilla’s graduation from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco when they were told it would instead be a wedding.

Zuckerberg, who is 28, changed his status to “Married’ and posted the event on his timeline. Though the couple has been together for years, having been together since his Harvard days, their wedding came as a surprise. The wedding came only a day after the much-hyped Facebook IPO on Friday.

Props to Priscilla Chan, who can in no way be called an opportunist. Having dated Mark since college, being there through the rise of Facebook, she still completed her medical degree through their courtship, and plans to be a pediatrician.
