Is the phone number 206-496-0948 phone number calling you and now you want to know who it is? Lucky for you, this is nothing more than a pesky telemarketer you can confidently and safely ignore Read on for more details:

Fake Survey/Cruise Telemarketer

The list of “take a survey and get a free cruise” telemarketing phone numbers just keeps getting larger and larger. They tell you that they want you to take a political survey – probably because people are so opinionated in politics. The survey is fake and merely a way to circumvent the national Do Not Call registry and call you about the cruise. The “prize” of a cruise they offer is dubious as well. Calling 206-496-0948 back will yield you the following message spoken in a pleasant British accent:
The number you called is temporarily unavailable. Please try your call again later.

A business that calls you, but doesn’t all you to call them doesn’t exactly sounds like the type of organization with which you’d want to associate.

It’s a scam.

Block ‘em or ignore ‘em. But don’t fall for this fake survey tactic.
