Model Spotlight & Interview: Saffron Taylor

We are proud to offer this week’s model spotlight and interview with British glamour and Latex fashion model Saffron Taylor.  It only takes a glimpse at Saffron’s stunning portfolio to realize why she has become one of England’s top Latex fetish models.  Saffron has found her unique place among the highly-competitive field of modeling, combining beauty, sex appeal, and Latex fetish into a body of work that can be appreciated by more than just her niche would imply.

When approaching an interview with a model or musician, it’s difficult not to go into it without some preconceived assumptions. Saffron Taylor definitely shatters any stereotype that may exist for a beautiful fetish model. She is intelligent, well-versed, and has a vast knowledge of an array of topics. For example, her knowledge of nutrition and exercise rivals that of trained professionals. She is also responsible for handling most of her website’s content and promotion. It is for this reason that we are so pleased that Saffron was kind enough to answer a few questions for this article.

Waffles: How did you get into modeling? Were you discovered or did you have the desire to get into it?
Saffron: In 2007, I met a very talented photographer who encouraged me to take some test shots and I was amazed at how the photos turned out! I was no longer the skinny, shy kid. I was a tall and elegant model. From this I created my first social network account and uploaded a few photos. Within a couple of months I received many requests for paid modelling assignments, interview requests and online features. The look of many famous glamour models were a real inspiration to me, so my initial focus was on glamour modelling along with swimwear and occassional fitness modelling.

Waffles: What led you to becoming a latex fetish model?
Saffron: In 2008 we shot my first latex photoshoot which was a phenomenal success. From then on my creative vision changed towards latex fetish modelling. Many of my fans had expressed an enormous interest in seeing more of me dressed in sexy latex so I knew this is the way to go for the future. I feel completely empowered when wearing skin tight rubber latex. There is no material like it. I just love the shine and light reflections latex gives off, for example the beautiful combination of a sexy latex catsuit with matching latex corset and a pair of my enormous 10-inch heels. Most men become completely helpless and distracted in the presense of a big boobed latex clad model.

Since, 2008 I have focused primarily on latex fetish modelling due to the demand of my website members and fans over previous years. I have been featured on many websites on the net, including Playboy and various well known publications. I have collaborated with numerous international latex fashion designers.

Waffles: What are some of your current projects in the works?
Saffron: I have lots of projects lined up for the next couple of years, including lots of travel to many exotic locations for various photo and video shoots. I am excited to be working with lots of new latex clothing designers, which is always great fun.

Waffles: What are some of the biggest challenges of being a model?
Saffron: It can be a very competitive business, as there are many beautiful models, but the biggest challenge is always getting your name out there. I honestly think that putting fans first is the priority, as without them, a lot of online models would be unknown.

Waffles: What is your dream modeling job?
Saffron: I have my dream modelling job. Everytime I go on a location shoot, I am so thankful for having such a creative and amazing occupation. Plus it is all under my own control.

Waffles: You appear to be well-versed in proper nutrition and exercise. Have you ever considered venturing into those areas as part of your career?
Saffron: Oh yes, in my early modelling career, I focused on glamour and fitness modelling. Although my primary niche now is latex fetish modelling, I always remain inshape all year round. So if there any opportunities to carry out fitness related modelling, I will be fully prepared and in good condition.

Waffles: Many men think they have to be ripped in order to attract a woman. Do you think this is accurate?
Saffron: No not really. I’m sure that if a guy simply looks after himself, he doesnt have to be ripped with bulging biceps!

Waffles: You’re quite a movie buff. What are some of your favorites?
Saffron: I am a big sci-fi lover and movies such as the Alien movies, Terminator and the Matrix are some of my all time classic favourites.

Waffles: You have huge followings on Twitter and Google+. How have social networking sites like these played a role in your career?
Saffron: Oh my, they have played an enormous part in my career. They have enabled fans to connect with me in real time. I always reply personally, as you will never find me without an internet connection. During my typical day, I don’t go anywhere without my phone so I am always “on call” to all my fans;) The revolution of social networking has completely changed the way models are perceived. Instead of being a model in a photo on a website, they become real people with personalities and emotions which fans can interact with.

Waffles: What’s next for Saffron Taylor?
Saffron: Although I have lots of projects lined up for the next couple of years, I am also constantly striving to improve my members website with new creativity and uniquness to our HD Videos, photo locations and members experience.
