Is the phone number 425-390-8961 bothering you and now you want to know who it is? Don’t worry – it’s just an annoying telemarketer who is hounding countless others just like you, and you can safely ignore this pest. Read on for more details:
Security Alarm Telemarketer
They may identify themselves with generic names such as “Family Security” or “Family Protection” or “Maximum Security” but really it’s just a low-end security system salesman. If you answer, you will likely get a voice-activated robo-caller asking you if they can install their security system in your home, perhaps in exchange for putting a sign in your front yard. It could also be a bored salesman going through the motions. This is a relatively old bait-and-switch technique. The caller ID indicates that they are calling from Washington, which may or may not be accurate. Calling the number back from a blocked phone will yield the message that your number can’t be determined and to call back with an unblocked number so you can opt out of future calls. Calling back with an unblocked number will go through a removal process, but it’s unclear if they actually remove your number or not.
Block ‘em or ignore ‘em. But don’t fall for this spam tactic.
