Seeking Reviews for Super Beta Prostate
Have you tried Super Beta Prostate? We want to hear from you!
This supplement, which claims to provide assistance to men with prostate problems, has seen a surge in advertising lately, most notably in a TV ad featuring former NFL star Joe Theismann. The ad features some bold claims, and from the reviews we’ve seen, it’s difficult to compile a good consensus as to whether this supplement works or not.
Super Beta Prostate is produced by New Vitality, which also produced Ageless Male, which we have discussed in this article.
Theismann states the following in their television ad:
Hi I’m Joe Theismann and no matter what stadium I’d broadcast from, I’d always have to find the closest bathroom just in case I had that sudden urge to go. My prostate was giving me fits, but then I heard about Super Beta Prostate’s nationwide million bottle giveaway, and I got a free bottle. What a difference it made. I don’t have to go as often and I don’t have to get up at night as much. Now I wake up refreshed and ready to tackle anything. Super Beta Prostate has sold over 5 million bottles. You have to take 100 saw palmetto capsules to get the same about of Beta-Sitosterol as you would from just one Super Beta Prostate tablet.
(Cut to Jeff Zielinski, M.D.) If you want a stronger urine flow and a more complete emptying of your bladder, I recommend Super Beta Prostate.
(Back to Joe) Don’t accept the issues that come with an aging prostate. Get Super Beta Prostate today. It works for me during the day and at night.
(Announcer) Call now and we’ll send ever new customer a bottle of Super Beta Prostate. Just pay shipping and handling. Call 1-800-658-7471.
There is also a small disclaimer during the ad that reads:
Beta-Sitasterol is not the active ingredient in saw palmetto. Consult your physician before beginning any weight loss, exercise, or dietary supplement program, particularly if you have special needs.
The betaprostate.com website also features Hulk Hogan, and many other positive customer stories.
As of this writing, we found 29 reviews of Super Beta Prostate on Amazon.com, with virtually no consensus. There are 6 five-star, 7 four-star, 3 three star, 3 two star, and 10 one star reviews. Those reviews range from being a big help to a big disappointment.
According to their website terms, Super Beta Prostate is promoted by NAC Vitamins Inc, maker of New Vitality and other vitamin products. The New Vitality website also sells Super Beta Prostate, along with many other aging-related products.
Although the betaprostate.com domain was created back in 1998, reviews prior to 2012 are scant. Newvitality.com was created only a couple of months earlier. Both are registered to:

Issues
- The comparison in their TV ad about Beta-Sitasterol to saw palmetto is essentially negated by the disclaimer, which is a bit odd.
- There are two pages of complaints about New Vitality at Ripoffreport.com.
- The TV ad talks about a free bottle, but there is no mention of this on the website. Perhaps it’s only to phone orders, but that isn’t stated.
- Some have claimed that ordering a bottle of Super Beta Prostate enrolled them in an auto-ship program which is not listed on the website. We have not verified this yet.
- The Beta Prostate and New Vitality websites used to promote the products as having been created by chemist Roger Mason. They appear to have distanced themselves from Mason due to harsh personal attacks on his reputation.
Roger Mason
Roger Mason used to be the expert used in promotion of Super Beta Prostate and other New Vitality products. I could find no information on Roger Mason on either website… until I did a Google search and came up with an inactive page on the betaprostate.com site (see screenshot at the bottom of this article). This page is entitled Roger Mason, The Man Behind the Magic.
The text of this page reads:
“My scientific formula naturally supports healthy prostate and urinary function*. I’m so sure you’ll love Super Beta Prostate that I am going to offer it risk-free.”
Roger Mason, a renowned research chemist, has written ten(10) books on natural health. Roger has been an integral part of the natural health industry for more than 30 years. He has done extensive research into natural health, life extension and healing yourself naturally with whole foods, proven supplements, natural hormones, and exercise. In addition, he counsels men on non-medical options available to support prostate health.
His research has culminated in several acclaimed formulas; most distinguished is Super Beta Prostate. Roger Mason and New Vitality are so confident that you’ll be satisfied with Super Beta Prostate, that they’re offering it to you for 30-days risk-free.

After some harsh accusations, including those of a criminal past, Roger Mason seems to have disappeared from both sites. It appears that the Super Beta Prostate “expert” is now Dr. Zielinski from the TV commercial, while New Vitality has their “About Us” signed by Jonathan Flicker, CEO.
Ingredients
According to their website, the ingredients of Super Beta Prostate are:
- Beta-Sitasterol
- Zinc
- Copper
- Manganese
- Iodine
- Chromium
- Molybdenum
- Selenium
- Vitamin D
- Silicon
- Boron
- Vanadium
- Germanium
Side Effects
There have been reports of constipation and other side effects. The Wikipedia entry on beta-sitasterol also claims a few side effects, such as “increased severity of heart disease in men having previously suffered from heart attacks.”
Why it might work
Beta-Sitasterol is not exclusive to Super Beta Prostate, as it can be purchased by a variety of vendors online, in many cases less expensive than Super Beta Prostate. There is some data that this substance does work in battling prostate problems. WebMD lists it as “Likely Effective” in “Trouble urinating because of an enlarged prostate, or “benign prostatic hyperplasia” (BPH). Taking beta-sitosterol helps the symptoms of BPH, but it does not actually shrink an enlarged prostate.”
Seeking Your Opinion
So the question remains – does Super Beta Prostate work? Some have said yes, while others have said no. We’re trying to get a consensus, so here at Wafflesatnoon.com, we’re asking anyone who has purchased and used Super Beta Prostate to give us your opinion. Obviously, we’ll get some fake comments here, too, but we’ll try to filter those out as best as possible.

If you want to know about the criminal history of Roger Mason all you need to do is a simple search for Roger W. Mason or go to http://www.ethicsabuse.com where its all laid out in horrific detail from third party sources like the Washington Post. This “renowned resarch chemist” is an illicit drug dealer who hides behind a facade of selling natural health supplements. I bet there are no active ingredients at all in “Super Beta Prostate”, just a new way to launder drug money.
Mason is a complete and total fraud and needs to be exposed in every forum available. Do nto buy his books, pills or give him any assistance whatsoever.
I tried it last year. I will say that it seemed to help. I go to GNC and get a *much* better price on stuff with the same ingredients now, though.
What is the name of the one you buy at GNC please? Thanks
Pumpkin seeds > Super Beta Prostate.
Some doctors will say anything for a couple of dollars. No evidence at all that there is any benefit of Super Beta At all and it would certainly not work in only 4 weeks.
I ordered after seeing the Joe Thiesman tv commercial. The man on line, read a script, and had me give my credit card to pay for shipping for “free Beta Prostate”,however, he said I would be signed up under the Premium membership and be billed each month $39.95 unless I cancelled.
I should have insisted I wanted to try it’s effectiveness before continuing to a longer commitment.
I will let you know if they will accept my cancellation. These reports earlier makes it sound as if they will refuse to cancel.
I have tried other prostate helps and they have all been cheaper than this $39.95 per bottle.I wish I had read these comments before ordering!
Hopefully you can get it straightened out without too much hassle! Let us know how it goes!
I ordered the free bottle several years ago and was disappointed. I cancelled without any problem. I’ve tried a few others since with no real result, so it might be just as good as any of them. I think I’ll start trying another round since I’m having such problems of late.
This worked for me after a couple of days. When it came time to reorder, I wread over the ingredients and changed my mind. It was mostly minerals and decided it may cause kidney stones. Besides, it’s expensive.
I ordered the Super Beta Prostate, after watching the Joe Theisman commercial on television. I was told it was going to be shipped to me for only the shipping and handling charge. They wanted my credit card on file and were going to bill me automatically for 40.00 per month. I was concerned about this, and then the sales woman tried to get me to buy some male enhancement product. That really made me question my decision to try the product. The product came promptly, and it said you should take it twice a day. I took it in the morning only. I had a bit of discomfort in my stomach, but was not sure if it was from my multivitamin or this. I did feel that I did not have to urinate as often. I used to get up three times a night, and now only once. I did not want to pay 40.00 a month. When I called to cancel, they were very polite, and after a brief attempt to lower the price to 30.00 a month, to which I declined, they said thank you. I do not know if I made a mistake.
I ordered the Super Beta Prostate and received it a few days later. I have taken 1 tab per day for the past two weeks with no change (I am getting up 2 to 3 times per night). I will continue to take it for the next week and then cancile if I don’t receive any benifit (I get a full refund if I cancel within 30 days).
Consumer Labs tested Super beta Prostate claims that it has certain ingredients. It discovered that it had about 20% of the claimed beta-sitoisterol and contained a potentially fatal dose of selenium. Roger Mason’s drug convictions activities are well laid out at the ethicsabuse.com website, including, say federal prosecutors, his responsibility for the deaths of at least 20 young people. Do not join his growing list of victims. Mason gets off on killing people and the feds and the courts let me get away with serial murder.
Thanks for your comment. Do you have a link to that study?
Hi: I tried Super Beta Prostate a couple years ago and couldn’t tell if it made a difference. I cancelled after receiving the first automatic shipment and got no hard sell effort to stay with it. I’ve been using a product called “Al’s Formula” for several years. It was introduced to me by a chiropractic doctor who felt that the manufacturer is ligitimate and the claimed ingredients dependable. He commented about the lack of credibility in some makers of health products since there’s no oversight or watchdog organization to hold them accountable. I still get up once or twice a night and at 71 am not sure I’m winning the prostate battle, but guess I’m holding my own as they say. Thank you for all the comments here. They’re very helpful!
Thank you for your insightful comment. Good luck, and please come back to comment if you discover anything else in your prostate battle!
I ordered a bottle of Super Beta Prostate after seeing the Joe Theisman commercials all over the TV. I am 63 years old and have an enlarged prostate. When I ordered it I was told the first bottle was “Free” (except for shipping costs of $6.99). In order to receive the “Free” bottle, you have to agree to provide a credit card to pay for shipping. After that they will automatically send a 30-day supply bottle and bill your credit card $39.99 monthly. You can’t receive the free bottle without agreeing to this. Their website says, “Begins working immediately…..) but it didn’t for me.
After 3 weeks of no noticeable improvement, I called their customer service to cancel the automatic monthly supply & billing. Their first reaction was to tell me that everyone’s body reacts differently and I should be patient and continue using. I politely declined and then was told they would reduce the price to $29.99 a month if I would continue. Again, I tried to decline politely but the woman kept talking over me so I finally just had to yell at her saying to cancel this account and that if I received any further charges from them I would report it to the police as theft from my credit card. This happened this morning and she finally agreed to cancel but I am still dubious that they will comply. Only time will tell.
OK. So today I get home and Lo & Behold what’s in the mailbox? Another bottle of this stuff that I canceled by phone on March 11. Of course my next credit card bill is going to have another $39.99 charged to it and I am going to have to go through the process of returning it and paying their re-stocking fee. If you don’t think this is a scam, think again.
You do not have to pay any restocking fee. You received unordered merchandise. Call your credit card issuer and tell them your story. They should charge the amount back and credit you for this last shipment billing. You do not have to spend money shipping it back to the seller. If they send you a postage prepaid package to return the vitamins in you can be a nice guy and send it to them. I highly doubt they will spend the money to do that.
I should have known when Joe Theismann referred to Einstein as, “Norman Einstein”, that he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed………
… “To Those who use ANY ‘Plant Derived’ supplement… They take up to 3 months before you’ll see results. DO NOT LOSE PATIENCE!”
Even ‘AVADART”® …A Presription Drug for Enlarged Prostate takes
2-3 Months before you’d notice results.
The Prostate Condition does not cure over night.
It’s a very complicated Gland.
‘SUPER-BETA PROSTATE’® is largely natural and plant based.
Whether it’s Genseng… Saw Palmetto… or ANY other
Plant Supplement… 90 Days before results are seen
is the norm.
“Give it some time”
I agree Dino, I`m 2.5 weeks into this and I also think it will take up to 90 days to see results.I still have zero results but I will give it the time to propery work !
I purchased Super Beta Prostate for myself and my father in law. He took one pill and his lower lip swelled to twice its normal size. When I took it for a couple of days I began experiencing severe dizzy spells, to the point of almost passing out. I haven’t taken it of three days now and I am just returning to a normal feeling. I would not recommend this product to anyone. It seems dangerous to me.
If your lip swells up after taking something, that is an allergic reaction and should not continue taking it! Thanks for your comment. Check out our article about some natural solutions to BPH.
I tried it. I take one pill a day. After one month flow was better, less discomfort, better sleep. I will search for a less expensive product. Works for me!!! My PSA’s are high and I am due for another test soon and hope that they will be lower.
Thanks for the info, and good luck!
T.V.ad promised a free bottle-listed a web site but it’s “free offer” leads only to an order page for product at “reduced” rates, nothing free. Any company that allows false/misleading information doesn’t earn my trust
quisiera saber si en Chile esta para comprarla y en que farmacia
Go to the Doctor and have him prescribe Flowmax. Forget the supplements. You don’t know the side effects or long term consequences with this product.
Mason and New Vitality are now the subject of 2 class action lawsuits. One in California and another in Ohio. I think the feds are finally catching up with him.
