I’m Mr. Spreadsheet, so this weight loss tip is chock-full of bias. On the other hand, it has worked for me, so perhaps it can work for you.
My first big weight loss epiphany occurred 10 years ago. I was about 40 pounds overweight and knew it was time to do something. I’m of the opinion that if you’re going to do something as important and daunting as losing weight, you have to do it full-throttle. You’re either all-in or you’re off the wagon. That’s how I see it. So what I did then, and continue to do now whenever I feel I need to re-focus, is to keep a spreadsheet of everything related to weight-loss. Such items include:
Calories
I firmly believe that’s it’s a lot easier to avoid a couple of hundred extra calories than to burn them off later. Have you ever seen how long it takes to burn 100 ...

Hey every guy gets it sometime. A little performance anxiety never hurt anyone. Much. OK, it actually sucks. But let’s look at the silver lining for a moment, or at least create a silver lining. There are benefits to E.D. Instead of crying over milk you can’t quite spill, let’s laugh for a moment about the lighter side of E.D.
Disease-Smazeeze.
Just think of all those nasty, disease-infected women you’re not sleeping with. The biggest gift ED can bring us is the inability to make that bad decision when it’s game time. If it weren’t for performance anxiety, I’d probably be shriveled up in a gutter and missing my left nut by now.
Temporarily Healthy
When I learned that ED could be circulatory-related, I started looking at my diet. I read all sorts of things that said I’d have less sexual issues if I kept myself as healthy as possible. I started popping vitamins, working out ...

So you’re considering the move to the dark side of hair style – and just want to shave it all off? I’ve been shaving my head to bald perfection for years, and I’d never go back. Shaving my head brought me a sense of youthful confidence I hadn’t felt since my early 20s. It erased signs of age that hair can bring to older guys, and brought a a new wave of women ogling my new-found dome.
And I’m not talking about a bald-ish buzz cut here. We’re talking baby-bottom baldness achieved with a razor to rid one’s head of all traces of hair. And that’s the only way to rock the bald look, going all-in with your chips and throwing your gauntlet in the hairless ring. If you’re on the fence, consider these 7 good reasons why being bald rocks.
No More Bad Hair Days

I wrote an article here on wafflestanoon.com a few years ago about spotting signs of meth use. The response to that article, even three years later, has been overwhelming. It’s gratifying to get the emails that I do, but also disheartening to see that so many people are still living with users of this horrible drug. I’ve tried to answer as many emails as I can on this issue, but there is one piece of advice that I’ve given so often, that I thought it might be time to just write it once for everyone to read, and it happened to me. This is when the loved one of a meth user becomes obsessed with trying to prove or cure the addiction.

In my own case, my wife always categorically denied her use – even though it was painfully obvious that she was high or crashing. To quote the 1999 film ...

Now that the absolute shock of Jack LaLanne’s death is fading a bit, I can’t help but going over some nagging questions surrounding his death. No, I’m not a conspiracy theorist by any means. I idolized Jack LaLanne. But still, a few things about the whole situation continue to bother me.

Reports were that he had been sick for a week. Other reports were that he exercised vigorously up until his last day. If he had pneumonia, I can’t fathom a strenuous workout hours before death. And if he had been in such rapidly declining health, why didn’t he go to the hospital? Why didn’t he have the pneumonia vaccine, and if he did – why didn’t it work? Did his heart valve replacement in 2009 contribute?
Again, this isn’t an attack in the least. The whole thing just raises a lot of questions that weren’t answered in the news reports. Jack ...

I just heard that “fitness guru” Jack LaLanne passed away today, apparently from respiratory failure due to pneumonia. I never had the privilege to meet the great Jack LaLanne, but he completely changed my life. That man probably crossed my mind every day for nearly a decade as I discovered the world of fitness. Jack LaLanne was a household name in my home among my kids and I. And even though the headlines tomorrow will focus on the winners of today’s NFL games, in my world there is no news story that can hold a candle to the passing of this great man.

Some may say that living to 96 is quite an accomplishment, and it is. But this guy was my Superman. He was for a lot of people, because his long live proved he was onto something. He didn’t eat sugar or white flour. He ate raw fruits and vegetables, avoided ...

It’s only been in recent years that I’ve seen a flood of advertisements for lawyers specializing in mesothelioma cases. I’ve seen them on TV, online, and on the radio. Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that is usually associated with exposure to asbestos. There are approximately 10,000 cases in the US per year. Compare that with over 1 million lawyers, and you can see that there is one mesothelioma patient for every 100 lawyers.
So why the fierce competition for such a small niche of cases? Simple – it’s easy money. These cases are rarely litigated, but instead settled quickly. It’s easy money. In fact, the high advertising budgets some of these lawyers employ are the bulk of their expenses on such cases. The cases are quick, easy, and profitable.

Lawyers specialize. Some do divorces, some focus on business, and then there are some that specialize in mesothelioma. But it’s really ...

I love juicing, and no, that doesn’t mean I take steroids. I bought my juicer about 5 years ago and I go through phases where I use it multiple times a day. So the other day I was purchasing a 25 pound bag of carrots and some apples, obviously to juice. The cashier told me that her husband had a tumor years ago and went through an extreme juicing regimen to rid himself of it, and is still fine all these years later. I had heard of juicing as an alternative to cancer and other therapies.
A couple days later, I decided to Google this concept to see what was out there. What I really wanted to find was someone extolling the virtues of juicing, merely to confirm my existing love of it. I did in fact find what I was looking for. But I also found a couple of things ...

So I’m on Facebook today and I see a shared link from a sports handicapper with the title, “It is All about Making Money” and something about a pre-launch business. There is a link to a subdirectory on getreadyreserve.com. This is one of those sites with some big “breakthrough” that provides absolutely no detail among their endless hype. Problem is, this “breakthrough” is far from new.

Despite the fact that they didn’t give details, they gave enough for me to figure it out. Under the “Product” tab, they state about their product:
On 60 Minutes, Morley Safer referred to the active agent in our products as “…a virtual vineyard of healthy living.”
That gave it away. They are apparently talking about Resveratrol, also known as Res-V, RezV, Rez-V, etc. Whether or not this stuff even works is irrelevant because it is one of the most common products pushed by scammers online. That and the Acai berry scams. ...

Earlier this year I wrote an article on my initial experiences with Yohimbe. Since then, I’ve used it probably 50 times and decided it was time to write a follow-up. Here’s the quick list of observations that I can say about Yohimbe in general:

Most important – it works… easily as well as Cialis did for me. And the bottle of 100 I bought from GNC only cost me $15.
It wakes me up, but I often get this strange “tired feeling” in my eyes.
It seems more effective when taken at least 45 minutes after a meal.
The first time I took it, the bad side effects were severe, but I have not experienced those since.
It almost always gives me gas.
I have occasionally had a mild upset stomach after taking it, but the effect was brief and never severe.
I have almost always had a dry mouth for several hours after taking it.
My skin ...
