This is one article I just couldn’t resist. I have a sort of love-hate relationship with those “blogs about blogging” but alas… I can’t resist the carrot and must wade into those murky waters myself.
So I was on the phone with an old friend today and he was peppering me with questions about blogging, which I found oddly exhilarating. I never thought much of blogging as exhilaration as much as a matter-of-fact presentation of information. But his questions led me to thinking about some of the “rules” a lot of these “bloggers about blogging” come up with. Hey, a lot of them are creating a fantastic product, but it seems like the bandwagon is pretty full here. And we really don’t like rules regarding creativity.
I did find this post quite interesting, which is right up my alley in the way the writer breaks down data and analyzes it spreadsheet-style. I tip my ...

It’s always fun to peruse my junk mail folder. Especially a hotmail account I have purely for junk purposes. It never ceases to amaze me to find the “419 Scams” still floating around. Which means there are still people falling for it. So if you’ve been under a rock for the past 10 years – these “help me release money and I’ll give you a cut” scams are ancient. Even the FBI specifies this scam on their site.
Well I thought I’d post today’s 419 Scam Of The Day here for sh*ts and giggles… (especially entertaining is the horrid English)

ATTN: Dear Friend
you may be surprise to receive this letter from me since you don’t know me personally. I am MR. FRANK GIRAL the son of FRANK JOHN GIRAL, who was recently murdered in the land dispute in Zimbabwe.
I got your contact through Network on line in my search for a reliable ...

So… you say Waffles has gone cold. And it has. But why?
Well, I won’t tell you – that’s personal. But I can tell you that becoming a consumer advocate was the last thing I really intended to be. Personal life took over and I had to let the blog go for a while.
But there are many things left unsaid, which was the reason for Waffles to begin with. So as the holidays come and go, and 2010 arrives… I will put these stale waffles in the microwave and see if I can warm them up a little. The syrup might be a different flavor, but it will still go down just as well.
Eat up.

Facebook has taken a lot of heat lately. First it was the “change of terms” controversy, and lately the focus has moved to the flood of ads for dubious sites selling government grant kits, make cash on Google offers, and teeth whitening blogs.
They said they removed the ads weeks ago.

Yet casual browsing of Facebook on Feb 25-26 yielded almost nothing BUT these seedy ads. And there is a new batch of ads that point to familiar LOOKING sites, but with strange new url’s… all of them ending with the head-scratching .tf domain. I had to look that one up, which turns out to be the “French Southern” domain, if that clears anything up. Here are a few that I ran across over that two-day period, found by clicking ads on Facebook:
earneasymoneyhome.edu.tf
earnonline.int.tf
earnonline.ru.tf
earnonline-page.us.tf
earnonlinesite.ch.tf
freeonlinejobs.int.tf
freeonlinejobsplanet.cz.tf
internetearnonline.int.tf
makemoneyonline.ru.tf
makeonlinemoneynet.at.tf
Almost all of these had the exact same content, which mirrored kevinsmoneytree.org, a familiar scam peddling ways to make money ...
