Jellyfish Lake

The video, posted on May 20, features a point-of-view swim through Jellyfish Lake in Palau, which is home to some 13 million golden jellyfish. Although these jellyfish are able to sting, their stings are considered generally mild and undetectable.

The video description reads, “A place like Palau’s Jellyfish Lake is a reminded of how wondrous the world can be. Swimming with literally millions of jellyfish was absolutely surreal — a reminder that there will always be surprises out there!” The video is set to Nuvole Bianche by Ludovico Einaudi.

The video’s creator noted on Reddit that he “couldn’t contain” his smile, and that he wished he “could have gone back for a second swim.”
