The website which published this story is the satirical National Report. The official-sounding news article has been shared by readers unaware of the satirical nature of the site. Other recent headlines on the site include “Jesus Christ Boycotts Hobby Lobby.” The article regarding police using a Taser on kindergarten students includes such claims as:

The police department has apologized profusely for the attack, stating that they are unsure how the two mentally disturbed individuals were able to pass the mandatory prehire psychiatric evaluations but intend to look into matter.
