A British actor and comedian has attempted to provide Donald Trump some sophistication by giving him an English accent in a series of YouTube videos.
Peter Serafinowicz posted a video to YouTube on December 17 entitled “Sophisticated Trump” in which he dubs in an English accent perfectly synchronized with The Donald’s lips.
The video used footage from a FoxNews interview and included a description which read, “What if Donald Trump had elocution lessons? All words verbatim.”
Classical music was added to the background during Trump’s answer as he attacks Hillary Clinton.
After the video amassed over a half million views in its first three days, Serafinowicz posted a follow-up, entitled “Sophisticated Trump 2: Barbara Walters.” In this interview, Trump defends his stance on Muslims and insists he is not a bigot. “Probably the least of any you’ve ever met,” Trump responds – in a posh British voice.
“I gave Donald an English accent again. No words were changed,” the description read.
One reader compared Trump’s accent to a James Bond villain.
The videos have generated bipartisan support, with both those for and against Trump expressing approval.
