The story is fake.

It was published by the satirical website Empire News. In the fake article we read that Manson was granted parole by the California Parole Board and authorized by Governor Brown.

The story has been heavily shared on social media sites by readers who were unaware of the fictitious nature of the report.

The author of the Charles Manson story claims to have graduated from Harvard in the 1600s, was cryogenically frozen, and brought back to life in 1981.

Manson’s associate Bruce Davis was granted parole back in March of this year.
