I pretty much grew up on these two dishes. I ate them on average every week from toddler to adult. When I became a young man, I often joked to my mom about them. Actually as a somewhat older man, I still joke to my mom about them…
Both are probably under $10 to make and I’ve fed to this many different kids and have never had it turned down.
The real joke is that I now make them every week for my kids, too. So without further adieu…
I love Jäger. Where else can you find substitutes for cough syrup, sleep aids, and Viagra - all in one bottle? It probably cures cancer, or at least makes you not care that you have it for a while. So when I drink Jäger, I like to take big shots. Most recipes are designed for small shots. When I’m preparing shots, I mix 1 to 1.5 oz of EACH part… so an Oatmeal Cookie could be as much as 6 oz of alcohol. And I don’t slam them – I drink them. That’s just me, and the recipes below reflect it. Don’t like it?

Jäger Bomb
1 oz Jägermeister
8 oz Red Bull
Drop the shot glass full of Jager into the glass of Red Bull and chug it down! Variations of this include different energy drinks.
Oatmeal Cookie
1 oz Jägermeister
1 oz Bailey’s
1 oz Butterscotch schnapps
1 oz Goldschläger or cinnamon schnapps
2 oz milk
Serve on ice and stir. This is kind of how my version of it has evolved. I’ve also found that any three of the alcohols in this drink do well together if you’re missing one of the ingredients (see the following two recipes)! You can also make a shooter version without the milk and ice.

1 oz Jägermeister
