The Gun Control Debate via Social Network Images

The gun control debate that is currently raging in the U.S. can be heard and seen in many places and on many levels. On social networks such as Facebook, Google Plus, and Twitter, users often share images to voice their opinions. Today we’ll look at a sampling of such images.

While both sides of the debate have chimed in, the pro-gun side appears to have a slightly stronger presence. For that reason, pro-gun images circulating online are more prevalent. That’s not to say we couldn’t find pro-gun control images as well, but just not quite as many. Some of the images below were created by large organizations such as the Republican National Committee, while others are created by individuals seeking to compare President Obama to infamous dictators. There is a great variety, and it can get rather ugly at times.

So without further delay, here is a look at some of the points being made in the gun control debate through images shared online:

The 20+ images above are only a small sampling of what is out there and being circulated online, but it does give a good sense of the where the debate is going in social media.
