Were Wyoming Christians Forced Obamacare RFID Chipping?

An alarming story states that Christians in Wyoming have been forced to receive implanted RFID chips.

The story is false.

The article was published by the National Report, a satirical website, and it is the site’s third such “RFID” article in the past few months. None of the stories are true, despite an occasional serious tone, such as in the of the most recent RFID story:

National Report, the only major agency refusing Obama’s implicit order to not cover RFID chipping, has been receiving reports from small congregations throughout Wyoming that Obamacare officials have been entering churches, giving a brief demonstration on the importance of RFID chipping, and refusing to let church members leave until RFID chips have been implanted in the hands of the members. Thus far, we have received reports from 11 congregations throughout rural Wyoming. No doubt, more will continue to emerge.

RFID Rumors
In late 2012, rumors that the Affordable Care Act required the implantation of RFID chips went viral. The story was not true, and no such requirement was ever spelled out in the legislation.

The satirical National Report picked up where the rumors left off, and began reporting “test runs” and forced implantation in Wyoming throughout 2013. Below are some the RFID articles published here over the past year:

Bottom Line
The National Report publishes fictional news reports. There is no mandatory RFID chipping occurring in Wyoming or anywhere else.
