About Forever Comfy Combination Cushion

The Forever Comfy cushion is advertised to have two layers of high-density foam cushion with an inner layer of therapeutic comfort gel. It is claimed that this cushion distributes your weight evenly, eliminating pressure points. The current website is getforevercomfy.com, which was registered on Feb 6, 2012. Prior to that, the official website was simply forevercomfy.com which was registered on December 30, 2011.

Below is a screenshot of the official website as seen in April 2014.

How much does Forever Comfy cost?

Forever Comfy costs $19.95 and $9.95 shipping for a total of $29.90. If you attempt to navigate off of their order page, they’ll take $5 off per cushion.  When you call the number in the commercial, they will try to upsell you to get more cushions. A typical order is 4 cushions for $79.70, which is still almost $20 per cushion. You can buy them in stores such as Bed, Bath, and Beyond for about $20 without paying shipping costs.

Some customers have reported that placing orders on the phone have led to being charged for more cushions than they wanted, due to a quick-paced sales pitch. We bought our sample locally, so we didn’t get the upsell involved in the phone orders. If you call the number advertised, be very clear in what you are ordering.

Forever Comfy TV Commercial

Our Forever Comfy Review

For a product that is advertised solely on increasing comfort, the unanimous consensus from our testers is that the Forever Comfy cushion wasn’t very comfortable at all. In fact, it seemed to go flat after the first day of use, and felt as if the center had been scooped out. It’s not what we expected. None of our testers expressed interest in using it after their evaluation.

Other Forever Comfy Reviews

Taking a look around the internet, we find a chorus of predominately bad reviews.

  • As of April 2014, Forever Comfy has at total of 232 reviews on Amazon, with over half of those being 1 and 2 stars.  The reviewers there seemed to echo our sentiment that the cushion becomes flat almost immediately.
  • The 8 complaints about Forever Comfy on Ripoff Report are about overcharging and product quality.
  • Scambook has over 140 unresolved complaints about the product.
  • ComplaintsList has 89 complaints about the product.

Bottom Line

We were not impressed by this product, and from the other reviews we’ve seen, it’s obvious that we’re not alone in that assessment. If you want to try one of these cushions, we recommend purchasing it locally to avoid the shipping and high-pressure sales tactics. Plus it will give you a chance to inspect the product a little closer.
