A Florida golf course has posted images of a giant gator which wandered onto one of its greens last week.
Real or Fake?
The size of the creature has led some to believe that the photos may be fake. It appears, however, that they are real, as multiple images were posted and the club’s manager also confirmed their veracity. The Myakka Pines Golf Club posted three images to its Facebook page on March 6th and 7th showing the “dinosaur looking reptile” approaching and laying down on the green at the 7th hole.
The Blaze interviewed the club’s general manager who assured them that the photos are “quite real.” Mickie Zada said that alligator sightings at the course are common, but no one has ever been attacked in the club’s 37 years.
The new gator is not as big as one that used to roam the course, affectionately known as Big George.
Bottom Line
Images of a large gator which roamed onto a green at a Florida golf course appear to be real. There are three photos of the gator and the general manager have confirmed that the creature is real.
