It is a “trick” – but the trick is on you! It it nothing more than a hoax to gain likes, shares, and comments.

A popular version of this hoax states:

1. Click picture
2. Write “jump”
3. See what happens

Clicking a picture on Facebook will either open the photo if you’re viewing it from your newsfeed, or if you’re already viewing it full-screen, then it will move to that user’s next photo. Nothing will happen by clicking a Facebook photo!

This is a new variation of a popular image recently that asked people to type “fall” in the comments. Nothing happened there, either.

Bottom Line
Don’t be fooled! Anyone you see typing the word “Jump” in the comments apparently didn’t stop to think that they were being fooled – and they didn’t read this article! The next time you see it, link to this article to set them straight!
