A Matteson, Ill. resident has won the state’s lottery for a second time, using the same numbers he used when he won years ago.
Two Lotteries, Same Numbers
65-year-old Larry Gambles, who is a retired school administrator, matched all five numbers in the Lucky Day Lotto on June 7, winning a little more than $1 million.
Gambles’ numbers 01-06-12-14-25 also helped him to win $50,000 nine years ago. He said the numbers were from his high school basketball jerseys. He also noted that he’s been playing the same numbers since that time, and they’ve paid off twice now.
What advice does Gambles give to other people who hope to win the lottery jackpot? He suggested they choose their favorite numbers and don’t deviate. He said it worked for him, and it can work for them.
