Those who claim the Woolwich attack was staged or a hoax have compared two videos taken of one of the attackers. One video appears to show blood on his hands in one version, but another version shows no blood.
We have two different videos, each displaying different colors. The video used to claim there was not blood on the attacker’s hands is not portraying accurate colors, for the reasons shown below. This could be due to an orange filter, post-production editing, or some other color-related issue while the footage was being shot.
Orange vs Red
Aside from the blood on the man’s hands, there are two other points in the video which should be displayed as red: the street lines and the bus in the background. If you compare the two videos, it’s clear that the man’s hands, the street lines, and the front of the bus all appear orange in one video and red in the other.
Because we know that the bus and the street lines should be red, the more accurate depiction of the man’s hands should be red as well.
If the man’s orange-tinted hands are accurate, then we should see orange buses in London.
Bottom Line
There are other points being debated regarding the attack and whether or not it was staged or a hoax. This article is only aimed at addressing the claim that the man’s hands were filmed with and without blood. Due to the orange street lines and the orange bus in the “without blood” video, it’s clear to us that this claim is false.
