Want to hide your list of Facebook friends from public view but can’t find this option in the Privacy Settings? This simple option isn’t found where you might think.
Ever-changing Facebook can be difficult to keep up with, especially when some options seem to move from place to place over time. In the case of hiding your friend list in 2013, you may be trying to find this option in your privacy settings or account settings, but you won’t have much luck. If you want to hide your friend list, you have to start at the list itself. We’ve provided the simple steps below:
1. Go to your profile.
2. Select “Friends” below your cover photo.
3. Toward the right side of the page click the pencil icon next to the “+Find Friends” button.
4. Select the “Edit Privacy” option from the drop-down menu.
5. Select “Only Me” for the “Friend List” option.
