The altered image, named President Pimp by user DaemonDCLXVI, placed fifth in the contest.

The graphic has circulated on social media over the past 6 years, and surges in social media sharing after Halloween and St. Patrick’s Day each year. In November 2015, for example, we saw the photo circulating on Facebook, with some readers believing that this was the President’s Halloween costume.

The actual photo dates from early 2009, and features the President and First Lady wearing traditional clothes.
