A video posted in late 2012 supposedly shows a man who “teleported” into the scene on a bicycle from behind another man on screen. Today we’ll take a look at this video.
Teleportation?
The video, entitled “The First Teleportation in Russia” shows three men talking, when a man on a bicycle appears from behind one of the men on the screen and rides off.
The description of the video, which was posted on YouTube in 2012, reads, “The cyclist appeared from out of nowhere and disappeared again 😀 Meanwhile in Russia.”
While at first glance it does seem that the man appeared out of thin air, it’s clear that the cyclist was merely standing behind the man on screen, then decided to ride off on his bike.
If you watch the left side of the man’s neck in the foreground in the opening seconds of the video, you’ll briefly see the cyclist’s tan jacket. It appears that both of the men momentarily move in the same direction before the cyclist rides off.
Take a look at the following screen shots, which show the cyclist’s jacket peeking out behind the man’s head, and then the same area a few frames later with the jacket missing:
Although the video has been around for several years, it received renewed interest when it was featured on an episode of the MTV show “Ridiculousness,” which shows funny and absurd internet videos.
Bottom Line
The cyclist was positioned behind the man in foreground, and simply left his hidden position, which gave the illusion that he appeared out of nowhere.
If this were a true teleportation, perhaps a better question would be why someone with such ability would require a bicycle?
