Spam Alert: The Fake “Notifications Pending” Email

Did you receive a vague email telling you that you have notifications pending but you’re not sure if you should click it or not? Today’s spam alert takes a look at a fake email currently circulating with just such a notice.

Let’s first take a look at the email, which has a subject of “You have notifications pending?” and came from Administra?tor ([email protected]):

All of the links in the email point to http://hvbatel.com.br/asparagus.html

When you click this link, you’ll be sent to a page that forward to medicarewitax.com. This is a run-of-the-mill Canadian Pharmacy, which was createdon 12/23/2012 – only 5 days prior to the email being sent out.

Bottom Line
This is just spam, and nothing more. Nothing to see here.
