Depp made his appearance on the talk show to promote his new movie Transcendence. In the interview, Depp and Kimmel discussed a variety of topics, but Kimmel began by mentioning Depp’s previous appearance, in which the two men also shared a kiss. “The last time you were here, we kissed a few times. I felt like we really hit it off. We had a few laughs together…” Depp then pulled out lip balm and applied it while Kimmel spoke.

At the end of the interview, Depp pulled out his lip balm again, and Kimmel asked, “So are we gonna do this? Is this gonna happen?”

Depp replied with a straight face, “It’s been happening since I walked out here.”

The men kissed to thunderous applause and the interview concluded.
