Humorous Russian Subaru Ad Features Dog Struck by Car

A viral Russian television commercial this week has the unusual theme of a dog being hit by a car.

The clever ad for Subaru Russia features a woman driving down a desolate road, unaware that a dog has run out in front of her car. When the woman realizes something is wrong, she stops her car, backs up, and gets out to inspect the grizzly scene. After seeing the creature laying lifeless in the street, the woman turns her back on the animal in a moment of grief.

As it turns out, however, the woman quickly becomes the victim in this humorous video. Watch the full commerial below to see what happens next.

The video has received over 5 million views in its first two days on YouTube. Subaru America has also featured dogs taking joy rides, but in a tamer manner than this Russian spot.
