10 Most Doll-Like Valeria Lukyanova Photos

Have you seen the photos floating around of the Ukrainian “human Barbie” doll named Valeria Lukyanova over the past 4 years? This girl is real, depending on what your definition of “real” is.

“Living Barbie”

Lukyanova first gained attention the attention of many readers with a Facebook post years ago. It had a picture of her with a lengthy caption which read:

Real Barbie

Valeria Lukyanova is a living Barbie doll. She has big glassy eyes, a tiny waist, straight platinum blonde hair and large breasts. She doesn’t have the exact measurements of the famous girl from Mattel, but in the real world, she comes as close as you can get.

Lukyanova claims to be the “the most famous Russian woman on the Russian-language Internet.” Her Youtube page, Amatue, has millions of views and her Facebook page has a few thousand likes.

The International Business Times reports that the 21-year-old model has had plastic surgery to achieve her real-life Barbie doll look. She also spends a lot of time in the makeup chair to achieve the flawless skin and glassy, wide-eyed look of a doll.

Lukyanova’s strange appearance has some people claim that she’s an elaborate photo-shop hoax. Her Facebook page, however, is full of photos of the model without her makeup so it seems that the model is indeed real.

Some of Valeria’s photos like this one are quite Barbie-like. Others, not so much.

It is apparent that this girl has undergone plastic surgery, wears heavy makeup and special contact lenses to make her eyes appear more doll-like. Her figure is also quite doll-like. When you look only at her body and ignore the Barbie references, she merely looks like an underweight young woman. It should also be pointed out that the photos being circulated are often cherry-picked, and Valeria doesn’t always have the Barbie Doll persona. Some of her photos merely look like a generic attractive blonde woman. Many of her videos look nothing like Barbie at all.

Thus makeup, plastic surgery, and cherry picked photos all play into account here, which leads some readers to conclude that she is real, but her “Barbie” appearance is hit and miss, and certainly not natural.

Below is a picture gallery of the Ukrainian model, who became an Internet sensation back in 2012. We scoured the net for some of the better shots of Valeria, and compiled what we feel is the best Barbie-like photos we could find. The photos used here are widely found on the internet.

Be sure to check out some of her “before” photos, then enjoy our gallery below. We picked the 10 most doll-like shots among the hundreds out there. Which ones do you like best?

This first photo looks like a Barbie doll posed in her Barbie Dream house, complete with pink walls.

This is the shot we first noticed of Valeria, used in a popular Facebook post. It features her thin body and flowing blonde hair.

What strikes us about this photo is the expressionless face and tilted head, not unlike you’d find on an actual Barbie doll. Valeria has certainly done her homework in posing like a doll.

Yet another tilted head, expressionless outdoor shot. This one also shows her unnaturally-thin figure.

This closeup displays Valeria’s full facial transformation, featuring her large blue eyes. It has likely been Photoshopped, but that only plays into her mystique.

Here we see much more skin than normal for a photo of Valeria. Again, she has a Barbie doll pose and lack of facial expression.

I’m not convinced this next one hasn’t been Photoshopped. It is significant because we actually see Ms. Lukyanova smiling. Her thin frame and mannequin-esque pose are prominent.

This could easily be a photo of “Workout Barbie” but it’s Valeria with her classic doll pose and expressionless face.

A great shot of Valeria by the ocean, showing a side shot of her thin frame, while her hair blows in the breeze.

Valeria Lukyanova continues to intrigue her fans around the world. It’s not just about her physical transformation, but also how she “works” the camera to come up with such doll-like poses and expressions. Her emotionless stare, long blonde locks, and thin body have created a mysterious persona, which has struck a nerve among millions.
