About Miracle Garcinia Cambogia

This is one of many vendors selling garcinia cambogia that popped up in late 2012 after the infamous Dr. Oz episode in which he hailed garcinia as a “Holy Grail” of weight loss. In the ensuing 18 months since that episode aired, the jury still appears to be out on garcinia, and whether it has actually lived up to the promise made by the TV doctor.

MiracleGarciniaCambogia.com was registered in late November 2012 – about a month after the Dr. Oz episode aired.

When you click on one of the many ads for Miracle Garcinia Cambogia, you’ll be sent to a page which resembles a health-related website, complete with a video of Dr. Oz embedded. This page has the headline “Healthy Consumer Living” and extols the virtues of Garcinia Cambogia, as seen below. The page that is advertised and the page which is reached by visiting the official website directly have different looks and even different order forms.

Miracle Garcinia Cambogia’s description reads:

GarcinaCambogiaFormula is made in a GMP Certified lab. Our garcinia cambogia extract contains only the highest quality ingredients with zero fillers or chemicals. Our Garcinia cambogia extract has been positively proven in doses of 1500mg that contains 50% HCA (Hydroxycitric Acid), along with potassium and calcium (helps with metabolism) and no fillers, binders, or artificial Ingredients. All properties that are vital for effective weight loss results.

Although Miracle Garcinia Cambogia does include disclaimers that Dr. Oz did not endorse a particular brand, their website and advertising generously include his likeness… and Dr. Oz urges his viewers not to do business with anyone who uses his name or likeness.

Below is what the official website, miraclegarciniacambogia.com looks like when you visit the domain directly.

How much does Miracle Garcinia Cambogia cost?

There are several purchase options of Miracle Garcinia Cambogia, depending on how many you order:

  • Buy 3, Get 2 Free: $144.95 ($28.99 each)
  • Buy 2, Get 1 Free: $104.97 ($34.99 each)
  • Buy 1 Bottle: $53.98

You can also sign up for their auto-ship program, which sends you a new bottle for $24.63 per month.

The return policy is vague, with their terms stating, “After 30 days from the original purchase all sales are final. Sales before 30 days will be handled by customer service on a case by case basis.” We have had commenters tell us that attempts at getting a refund were not successful.

Our Miracle Garcinia Cambogia Review

We had our testers try out Miracle Garcinia Cambogia earlier this year and report back with their findings. Overall, the consensus has been that the product provided little positive benefit. Most testers actually reported side effects such as headaches, bloating, and even weight gain.

What we would consider to be a red flag is the fact that this vendor only surfaced after the Dr. Oz episode aired, and that it only sells a single product – which we refer to as a “one trick pony” vendor.

Another red flag is that the corporate address is a mail box center in a strip mall in San Diego.

We have over 1000 comments on garcinia cambogia among our various articles (see related articles below). Some of our commenters have specifically mentioned Miracle Garcinia Cambogia, and have given it mixed to poor reviews.

Bottom Line

As with many other garcinia cambogia products available, there does not appear to be anything inherently wrong with Miracle Garcinia Cambogia, but there also does not appear to be anything special about it either. The vendor meets many of our red flag warnings, such as being a one-product vendor, vague return policy, and the shameless use of Dr. Oz’ name in advertising. We recommend not signing up for the auto-ship program, and you may want to visit a local supplement vendor to shop for comparable alternatives, which will in most cases be far less expensive.
