Skype Facebook Page Hacked

Skype’s Facebook page was apparently hacked today when an anti-Microsoft message was posted to it.

The message stated, “Don’t use Microsoft emails (hotmail,outlook), They are monitoring your accounts and selling it to the governments. More details soon. #SEA”

The status was shared and liked dozens of times in the first few minutes, with many users confused as to the meaning of such a status.

 

The post was removed approximately 10 minutes after it first appeared. By that time it had over 200 shares.
