Odd Photo: Man in Silver Suit Driving a Giant Foot Ticketed by Cops

A bizarre photo posted on April 23 by the Wandsworth Police Twitter account shows a man in a silver suit, wearing a crash helmet, being ticketed while driving a giant pink foot.

Giant Foot

The unusual photo shows an officer standing on the platform on which the large pink foot rests, apparently writing out a ticket for a man wearing a silver suit and a crash helmet.

Although The Mirror states that the vehicle was abandoned and no one had yet claimed it, the massive foot is actually the work of the Bureau of Silly Ideas which is having the foot roam area streets as a promotion for the annual Wandsworth Arts Fringe. Additional shots of the large foot (using the hashtag #bigfoot) were posted on Twitter by that Arts Fringe profile.

The Wandsworth Guardian stated that the officers could have been in on the joke, noting, “…the borough’s police officers got involved in the jokes on Twitter.”
