TMZ has reported that Lil Wayne is listed in critical condition after suffering from more seizures this week. It has been reported that “it doesn’t look good.”
9:09pm PT Update: Despite an “uncertain” prognosis, Lil Wayne apparently sent out a tweet that he was “ok.”
5:19pm PT Update: TMZ is now reporting that Wayne is being given his late rites.
After being rushed to the hospital several times this week, Wayne has been placed in a medically-induced coma and breathing tubes after being listed as “unstable.”
Friends and family are reported to be by Wayne’s side. The artist, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., is 30 years old.
Wayne had been working a video with Nicki Minaj earlier this week when the seizures began. His first seizure landed him at Cedars-Sinai Tuesday, but he was released early Wednesday. The rapper also suffered two seizures in late 2012 and was placed on seizure medication.
