Television Commercial

Here is a TV commercial for My Spy Birdhouse:

Our My Spy Birdhouse Review

We followed the instructions as closely as possible – placing the birdhouse in a low-traffic area, and on a window which did not receive a great deal of direct sunlight throughout the day. We placed it on a window about 6 feet off the ground, and made sure there were nesting materials nearby, such as lawn clippings and small pieces of string.

The birdhouse materials and construction are of suitable quality. Whether or not the suction cups can hold over time remains to be seen, and the thought of them failing is not a pleasant one to bird lovers.

In general, we found that the product generally worked as advertised during our tests.

Shipping
We have heard from several readers who were unhappy with the shipping time. In our case, the product took about 6 weeks to arrive, and many customers find this unacceptable.

Third party sales calls
After placing our order, we noted an influx of new sales calls. While we can’t say with 100% certainty that they are related to the My Spy Birdhouse order, the timing does seem raise suspicions.

Alternatives to My Spy Birdhouse
As innovative as the design of this product seems, there are several competitors available, such as the Peek-A-Boo Birdhouse which has been around for several years.

Bottom Line
If you don’t mind waiting up to two months to receive your product, you may find My Spy Birdhouse to be an enjoyable product. We are still not convinced, however, that three suction cups are a sufficient long-term mounting solution.
